Add 'Notes field' when logging glucose levels

I love that you now include Glucose monitoring, but it’s pretty limited. I wish we could add a note when we enter a glucose reading. Yeah, there are predefined categories we can tag each reading with, but most of the time I need to enter something custom. For example, I like to note what I eat so by I can see how specific foods affect my readings.

Need a notes area. Yes I ate 2 hours ago but need to put in sometimes "what" I ate. Was it carb heavy. Actually it would be nice to out in hours exactly how long ago it was since I ate.

I want a notes section for glucose monitoring to be able to make notes on my insulin dosage and if it was my humalog or my Trulicity medications.

I’d like to be able to personalize the reasons for checking my blood glucose. The list of available reasons is insufficient

I like the idea of a notes field, but I also would like to be able to personalize both "when did I check" and "experiencing or exposed to" when I check my blood sugar. I often check my blood sugar

when: while exercising

when: recheck after low blood sugar

experience: exercise

I have issues with hypoglycemia

Being able to personalize these categories makes it more accessible than just a notes field.

Notes field might be a place I could add what I did to alleviate hypoglycemia, etc.

As a type 1 diabetic, like the new feature to be able to log blood glucose! I'd like to suggest adding a "notes" box when logging glucose. If there was a notes box, the user could make a note of how much insulin they gave themselves with meals etc

I would love the ability to add notes to the Blood Glucose section of the app. This would be really helpful to mark down if a specific food item cause your blood glucose to spike. The options available are nice but they aren't customizable.

Yes this would be amazing! I just started tracking my glucose (I'm prediabetic) and there are a lot more things I want to note than Fitbit currently allows.

100% yes please!

When logging glucose details, there should be a spot to add details. Like a text box where you can add what you ate prior to logging or throughout the day or if there was stress going on or other factors other than just what's already pre-programmed. That way when going back to look at the details, you get a better picture of the whole reading.

Hi @Logging, thanks for taking the time to share this product feedback about including a notes section in the glucose logging with us. I noticed this product feedback was already requested on this board, so I’ve moved your post here. Please support this product feedback by adding your vote, this helps our developers to keep tracking its popularity and demand over time.

Why does this feature have to rely on "votes"? Why does this have to be something you need to go through searching the problem, logging in, and adding a message on this obscure forum? It takes zero effort to add a comment box on the glucose page and it's medically necessary. For the 18 "votes" on this page, there are hundreds if not thousands of people who need this feature.
