Let the Fitbit device to make it possible to record voice to mobile phone. Code a fitbit app and google play store app and release. And we may download those apps install to pair our fitbit and mobile phone, start the fitbit program, record through its microphone to our mobile phones.
Hi @DragonJanissary, thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about adding a voice recorded on the Sense that syncs with your mobile device with us. I noticed a similar idea was already requested in the Feature Suggestion board, so I’ve moved your post here. Please support this idea by adding your vote, this helps our developers to keep tracking its popularity and demand over time.
I've been using my phone to make voice recordings for later logging (fleeting thoughts), but that is cumbersome. I figured I could probably find a small digital recorder that I could wear around on my wrist to streamline the process, then smacked my forehead and thought - of course! There's probably a Fitbit Sense app for that! I happily started searching, but no. Still no app. More than two and a half years after original post; they said they would use it weekly; I would use it maybe 3-6 times per day, I think. Maybe as the Fitbit/Google integration progresses there will be a voice recorder; I urge you to make it sooner rather than later.
Of course voice memos would be a great addition as I have my sense 2 on my wrist 24/7 and I keep getting ideas. I won't have access to my phone, pen and paper. This would be really ground breaking for me.
