Add the ability for parents to open the Fitbit Ace LTE app and view battery level, health related stats, LTE signal level, last location and time/date of last Fitbit check-in time to tell if the data is old.
The web Windows app was a key differentiator for Fitbit. With that gone, it's more of a level playing field with all the other trackers and watches out there. I am looking this morning for alternatives for my old Luxe that I need to recharge evey day and have found many good alterntives for much less $$. You shot yourself in the foot on this one.
First week with the Ace LTE and my son loves it. We crossed over from another kids smartwatch for our 7 year old because of how active he is. My wife and I would love to see a weather widget, a calendar widget, a calculator, battery life display for parents in the app. A task reminder widget, geofencing to set boundaries for kids safe zones, lastly a listen in feature. I understand this is a new development for you all over at Fitbit but these features listed would make the ace LTE undeniably the best kids smartwatch on the market.
Would be nice to be able have the option to disable outbound calling/messaging as part of the 'weekly schedule' for the little ones with no self control during certain hours. Unless that's just a problem I have?
