Add current, average and max speed during exercise

The two primary exercises I use are running and hiking.

When I choose these exercises I would love to be able to see my current, average, and max speed along elevation gained stats.

Currently mph can not be found anywhere and elevation is showed only after you finish the activity.

I just learned that with the Fitbit Sense you can swipe down during an exercise and you will see your elevation gain. So that takes care of that, however I would still like to be able to see mph stats. It seems like this should be easy math based on what the Fitbit is already tracking.

I see this feature is requested in the past.

Show walks/runs in Kilometers/miles per hour, not ... - Fitbit Community

It got more than 500 vote.

how many does it take to get this feature implemented?

Looks like that link is from a few years ago. Maybe if this gets enough upvotes they will rethink it.

Seems like it would be an easy feature to implement. Just need to take 60 and divide it by your pace number.

Currently working on an app for running ( and the rest). I always have km/h current and average on as wel as heartbeat (important to me) , distance and time counter.

Just recently busy making it miles/hour and pace setting.  Still in progress, but you can take a sneak preview if you like. Send me a message.

Elevation gained is not my thing, because gps data thinks that the waters in Holland are blasting rivers and even going upstream

I too would like to see speed stats! Actually one of the most important metrics to me.

Speed stats are very important for me windsurfing. I don’t need to see real-time but bought a charge 5 because of the gps and am surprised and rather upset it doesn’t readout speed well.
I am recording as Outdoor Workout as the workout type options are extremely limited. I do see average speed on the readout after I hit finish and before I hit Done. But nothing shows up later on my iPhone.
Please add average and max speed readouts. What would be really great is an option to show it in colors on the track like the pulse option!

This has been requested multiple times and upvoted by hundreds of people. This would literally take any competent programmer about 5 minutes to implement. What's the deal?

I think I am done with Fitbit. Easy and obvious need for speed stats for so many fitness users in so many different sports.
Been years and numerous updates yet no resulting improvements in this area.

Can not agree more with the above comments.

I couldn't care less about pace, MPH (peak and average) with heart rate are the absolute most important aspects of a work out for me.
