Please could you add a Tile to the Sense 2/Versa 4 which shows how many of the active hours I have completed for today's Hourly Activity goal, and how many steps are left if it is not yet complete for that hour?
Good news, everyone!!! I have found TWO clock faces that display steps taken in the current hour on Sense 2! One is called Step It Up and the other is called Move It! Check them out and I hope they solve this issue for you! Mike
Thanks Recovery Runner for this information. I did just switch my clock farce to Move It. However, Fitbit should bring back this functionality as a feature of the Fitbit so that users can see how many steps they have completed per hour in real time throughout the whole hour until they get to and not have to use one of two select clock faces to get this functionality on Sense 2. Especially given that this is a higher model that costs about the same as an Apple watch. Fitbit--I hope you are listening to your avid and loyal fans here!!!!
Glad to hear so many other people want this feature; I don’t understand why it doesn’t exist in the first place. I want to know how many steps I’ve taken in an hour regardless of what time it is, not just after 50 minutes.
Totally agree with the comments here. My prior version of fitbit had it.
Be able to see number of steps so far this hour
Be notified (before 50 minutes after the hour) when you have hit your 250 in case you want to do it earlier due to a work conflict
This is pretty important as Fitbit promotes how important it is to be active every hour yet we have to wait until the end of that hour to see if we have achieved that goal and then drop everything we are doing and walk circles around the house in 10 minutes to get the steps in
Every step forward is two steps back... Just upgraded to the Versa 4 from the Versa 2 and lost the ability to see how many steps I needed to hit the 250 steps per hour goal.
I spend a lot of time in front of the computer, and being able to see how many steps short of the 250 steps/hour goal kept me moving.
Please, please, please add the number of steps per hour back to the watch!
I’d love to be able to see how many steps I have taken in this particular hour …or to see how many steps I have left to reach my hourly 250 target. It’s like operating in the dark otherwise.
Recovery Runner suggested using the clock faces Move It! or Step It Up for Sense 2. (Maybe these are available for Versa 2 also.) I have been using Move It! now for about a week. It is great!! I can see my step for the whole hour in the lower right corner. In the left corner is a circle with dots that fill in when you complete your 250 steps. It also has the ring of the circle that keeps filling in as your total number of steps is approaching your daily goal.
Using these clock faces is an immediate fix so you can enjoy your Fitbit right now.. It will take Fitbit 9-12 months to add a tile to their device, so start using one of these clock faces while we wait for Fitbit to add this functionality to Sense 2 and Versa 2. I hope they are listening and will add this feature back.
Hi WalawalkAnnie and others and thanks for your advice: I’ve installed the Move It clock face and I’m no longer in the dark — an hourly step count on the opening tile is just what I wanted 😊
These third-party clock faces might be great for some, but they are marked by Fitbit as "not optimized" in the app. I like my current clock face and don't really want to change it. I don't need to see the hourly step count on the clock face. Fitbit should add this info to the Today tile so that you can see it regardless of which clock face you have selected. That said, it would probably be a good idea for Fitbit to release several of their own clock faces that display hourly step count.
Nleemarks You can find Move It! when searching clock faces by making sure you include the exclamation point or you won't find it. I had a hard time finding it when I forgot the exclamation point. I am hoping it is available for Versa 4, it seems like it should be. However, it looks Step It Up is on Versa 4 if you can't find Move It! Good luck.
I’ve been a Fitbit user for years. The tile with steps per hour is critical. Huge disappointment to find my brand new Sense 2 doesn’t have it. Please add this info so I can see what I have to do throughout the hour, not just at the 50 minute mark! Big downgrade for me to lose this.
I sit in front of a desk all day participating in conference calls and meetings. I have free time during an hour and would like to keep from being sedentary. The FitBit Sense allowed me to see how many steps I had taken this hour, the number was always readily available. I figured that the Sense 2 was an upgrade, but no I find that the remaining steps, or even the fact that I completed the hourly activity are only available during the last 10 minutes of the hour. I am almost always unavailable during the last 10min of the hour...
Number of steps remaining for the hour, or number of steps taken during the hour would be greatly appreciated. At least this would convince me that the Sense 2 is ready for prime time.
Why would the Sense 2 notify me near the end of the hour if I have not completed my 250 steps and not provide additional necessary information to go forward? My other Fitbits charge 2, Versa, and Versa 2 notify me at 50 minutes and also allow me to see how many steps I have already completed toward this goal (allowing me to change pace if necessary) and also see where I stand on times I have accomplished my 250 steps during the day. These are very important features that the Sense 2 is missing. I would hope that these features can be added in the very near future, they will greatly improve the tracker.
Hi @huskersal74, thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about adding hourly activity tile on Versa 4. I've moved it into a similar request. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs. Click on the thumbs-up to show your support.

Yes please! On my Versa 2 I often checked steps for the current hour, and I am disappointed to see this functionality missing when I thought the Versa 4 would be an upgrade.
This was on the fitbit 3, why remove it from the 4. There were issues with the 3, the 4 is even harder to navigate and the instructions included on the app are a summary. They describe what it can do, not how you can. Fitbit, you ARE slipping.
