Please could you add a Tile to the Sense 2/Versa 4 which shows how many of the active hours I have completed for today's Hourly Activity goal, and how many steps are left if it is not yet complete for that hour?
Hi @nareik91, and thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about adding how many steps are left on 'Hourly Activity' tile on Sense 2 and Versa 4. We rely on feedback like yours to help us develop products and features that we know our community wants to see. If this suggestion receives votes from other customers and gains popularity, it will be shared internally with various teams at Fitbit. There are several threads in the Sense 2 community requesting this feature (I suggested they visit this area too). My Ionic had the feature and it greatly added value!
To see the active hours you have completed, you could (at least on Versa 4) press the button and select the 'Today'-app. Here you can show a statistic on how many of X hours you reached your activity goal. Maybe you need to scroll to the very bottom and add the statistics.
The missing steps for one hour are shown in some clock faces by Lignite (https://www.lignite.io/, e.g. Modulite). I use it since a few years with my Versa 2 and with the Versa 4 now. They do offer Modulite for Sense 1 and 2 too.
Maybe it helps the one or the other ... And I hope it is okay to mention a 3rd party provider here. If not, feel free to delete my post ;-). I am not working for Lignite. I am just a happy user of their clock faces as I wanted to have precisely this feature.
Hi, thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about showing how many steps are left on the Sense 2 with us. I noticed a similar idea was already requested in the Feature Suggestion board, so I’ve moved your post here. Please support this idea by adding your vote, this helps our developers to keep tracking its popularity and demand over time.
I am disappointed that the Sense 2 does not have a clock face that shows how many steps I have taken in the current hour. I have called and the reps (yes, more than one) didn't seem to understand what I was talking about and just kept telling me about reminders to move.
I want to be able to look at my clock face at any time, not just at 50 minutes past the hour, and see how many steps I have taken that hour. It should reset to 0 at the top of every hour. That way, if I have a few minutes to walk at some time other than 50 minutes past the hour, I know how many steps I need to take to reach 250. This feature has been present on previous models, so why isn't it available on the Sense 2?
I just yesterday switched from my Blaze to the Sense 2 and have been searching for hours to see how to display the steps I need per hour. This was easy in the Blaze and I cannot believe this has been dropped from Sense 2. I'm thinking of returning it and switching to some other activity tracker than Fitbit. This is a real problem and shows you don't understand your customers.
I had the fitbit versa first gen then fitbit sense and it always showed my steps to make 250 steps that hour and I upgraded to pixel watch and fitbit sense 2 and it disappeared please make a tile for it.. on fitbit sense 2 and pixel watch
Not just the hourly steps goal , the functions on the original VERSAs today tiles could be swiped to access additional information for each tile which were much easier to view than the SENSE2s Today tiles.
Stridently agree with BrianG that Fitbit assuredly doesn’t understand its customers when it releases a Watch, e.g., Sense 2, without “steps per hour” towards the 250 ON THE CLOCKFACE along with Total Steps. I, too, don’t want to return the watch but I may have to because while working, home or office, there is no more important feature. The nags aren’t enough, because we often need to get back to work asap or limit a call to those 250 steps or on camera for a telecon, so we need the 250 counter. It’s an astonishing User Experience oversight by Fitbit.
I also wish the haptic notice at :50 past the hour were stronger and longer. Perhaps make it so it vibrates until acknowledged. So many times, I simply don’t feel it.
I just started using my Sense 2 after using a Versa and Versa 2 for the last 3 years, I can see the number of hours I have met my goal. Is it correct there is no way to see how many steps I have completed in the current hour?
Yes please add the number of steps you have in your current hour. I cannot believe this is not available on Sense 2. I have been an avid Fitbit user for the last 4 years with a Fitbit Charge and I am always checking my hourly steps. I bought a new Sense 2 thinking I was getting an upgraded Cadillac. I cannot believe that something as basic as your steps for the current hour is not available. I am disappointed and hope you add this feature soon!!
I totally agree that Fitbit should add a tile to show Steps per Hour instead of having to wait for the reminder at 50 minutes past the hour.
I just changed from a Fitbit Charge 3 to a Versa 4 and am very disappointed that the Versa doesn't have this feature. It's actually hard to believe that Versa does not have this valuable feature which helps users accomplish their steps per hour goals. Please, please, please add a Steps per hour tile!
The steps remaining in the hourly activity was the same on the Ionic, Versa, V2, and V3. The display on the Sense 2/versa 4 is not an upgrade. Please give users the number of remaining steps throughout the hour, not just the last 10 minutes.
I just activated my new Versa 4 today, and I too would really like a tile so I can see my remaining steps for the hour. I used to check this all the time on my Versa 2, and i do not understand why this was not added. Please think about adding a tile for this!!!
We (couple) just upgraded to the Sense2 and have found ONE clockface (Step It Up) that provides A LOT of personalization.
HOWEVER - we are very disappointed that the hourly step counter is no longer a feature built into the app. Both of us would like to see this feature returned to the watch AND app.
Those hourly reminders are ridiculously important. Fitbit has so many articles on the need to get up and move at least once an hour and the count down helps people break up their goals, meet them, and maintain a healthier balance between sitting at a desk all day and making sure to get that 1-2 minutes of movement in.
It really blows me away that such an important feature was removed. Most people probably won't come here to comment and I'm sure there's several other threads of the same topic as well.
C'mon, Fitbit. You guys can do better. You KNOW this is a valuable feature. If you think otherwise, then take down EVERY article you have about the value of moving every hour. Because when under the gun at a desk job, people really do need this to help them hold themselves accountable and do whatever they can to get out of their chairs.
Why would the tracker notify you near the end of the hour if you have not reached your 250 steps if it will not otherwise let you track that metric? Every previous Fitbit I have owned let me see my progress toward 250 steps for the hour. Please add this functionality.
My wife has a versa 3 and uses the steps remaining feature all day! We can’t believe that the new improved versa 4 took such a step backwards. May return my Christmas present of versa 4
I had this feature on my Charge 4 and I used it multiple times per day. I have had my Sense 2 for about a month now, and have searched for this feature many times, unsuccessfully. Now I understand why! It doesn't exist. Definitely a miss for Fitbit to leave this off the Sense 2. Please add it!
