Add more mood and feelings options

I’ve just started using the stress management feature since it popped up; or at least, I’ve gone in and checked one of the boxes periodically. I feel like a scale with 7 options vs 5 might be easier to respond to. As in, I might not feel “stressed” at a given moment, but might still be somewhere south of truly “neutral”; neither answer is correct.

It's rather wrong in any case, I talked about it in my last post. Finishing is a bit of a gimmick without taking the real values.

There are many types of stress and emotion. Regarding emotions, according to Paul Ekman (1984), simple emotions would be fear, joy, sadness, anger, surprise and disgust. Each emotion has a range of feelings: e.g. joy: happy, content, joyful, etc. The app never had to be reviewed with scientists and doctors.

We're talking about emotional stress here. There is also stress related to fatigue (lack of sleep), stress related to physical (pain, physical fatigue). all this is well detected by the watch but it is not offered as an option by Fitbit. If the watch wants to give itself a healthy side, let it do things the right way. Or offer everyone to enter the options they want

There's more to this than just mood, reflecting on most for the most part nothing special or different is occurring but something has happened.

I suspect I've a physical ailment, probably not dissimilar to POTS. 90% of the alerts follow an activity such as bending down or getting up from a resting position. Being able to log those activities, rather than mood, could be really helpful - that could be significantly improved if the trigger data was available to share with a doctor. The data may only be indicative but it may be enough to help justify more tests and a proper diagnosis.

Having this "body response" alert without the ability to really log what's occurring is really annoying.

I agree. I personally think that "anxious" should also be added as the closest option is "worried"

I believe that words are important and "worried" implies that the feeling has a specific meaning or cause. Where and "anxious" allows the user more freedom with how they define it.

Noting the previous comments I think it makes sense to have a category or two that can be defined by the user. I understand that there could be issues with history if users want to change their categories. To help both programs and users with this I suggest a set number of logged moods before a user can "unlock" the feature to name a new mood. If the user has had time to experience the feeling of trying to log a mood a few times without the option

they are more likely to select the options that match the moods they are feeling.

I'd like to see more moods added especially a pain or an uncomfortable one. I live with chronic pain and my Sense 2 keeps vibrating when my pain increases and the closest thing I can choose right now is frustrated because it's the closest mood option I can choose besides stressed but like others have said there can be good stress or bad stress depending on the situation so more mods options would definitely be an upgrade if be happy with. 😀👍

As someone who is autistic and suffers from poor mental health daily I like the idea of reminders to check in and be mindful on a regular basis, specifically when there are changes in my body that I maybe haven't noticed.

However I find the limited choices of selecting how I feel frustrating.

I have attached a feelings wheel for reference but there are so many more feelings, emotions and nuanced experiences of emotions that could be added.

It would be good if you clicked the core feeling first then it opened up a sub selection of that feeling.
