Add option to update payment method for Fitbit Premium

Why can't a customer go in and update the payment method? My credit card was lost and when I go in to update the payment, it defaults to Canada as a county so I cannot update the payment. In the chat box, I was told I had to cancel my subscription to wait then restart it and put in new payment information. That seems like silly way to update.
