Adventures - location specific

The adventures feature is wonderful, however being able to get adventures based on my GPS or location would be ideal.

Maybe an integration into trip advisor to mention the hikes in my specific area or the upcoming fun walks or runs available would work as well.

However having adventures based on a NYC location for someone in London makes this feature useless, and gives the impression that the Alta HR or Fitbit is only concerned about US audiences.

This would be amazing. I live in Colorado Springs and the Barr Trail to the Pikes Peak summit would be an amazing adventure. There would be unlimited adventures to do all over Colorado in all the beautiful mountain range.

At the moment all the adventures are US based.. why not add international options? It’s a bit disappointing to not be able to use a feature cause it’s aimed at the USA..

It would be lovely if the activity challenge routes changed ...have they ever ??  

River bank walk ? 

Beach walk? 

Hill walk ? 

Tour of London/New York citi scapes etc etc 

the steps of buildings ? Eiffel Tower 

the shard, Empire State Building Statue of Liberty etc etc 

bridges ..amazing views ...endless collection 

maybe use member photos within the routes 

to be honest any change would be lovely as the only challenge after one completion is to complete it in a quicker time ..which doesn’t hold huge incentive to everyone

Just about everything in these pages relates to users in the USA. 

It would be valuable to have more local/location relevant content.

Hike suggestions for Washington State are no good to someone living in England etc etc !!

Getting tips for nearby adventures based on where you are is a great idea! Then you could go on an adventure at any time and wherever you are. There should be some kind of mechanism for health & safety checks before publishing them of course, but why not let users propose trails in their areas that would pop up in the app if you happen to be nearby? And maybe you could select specific width of radius within which you'd get suggestions.

Right now the adventure function looks so great but is completely useless to anyone outside of the US, and probably even to most people in the US who aren't nearby the Yosemite or what have you.

Pretty sure anyone who isn't based in the US would agree with this suggestion. I don't get how it's only an "interesting" idea that "could be useful". There's a whole world outside of the US you know...
