Tennis Mode Stats

As latest updates with many wearble watches on the market, while playing tennis they can count how many forehand backhands you placed, your stroke speeds and spin and so on. As far as I know Fitbit charge 2 shall have same sensors with most of the products. Can you add extra detailed features to view for tennis, like forehand number speed and so on. I saw Samsung gear s3 has such an app even, it will be great for Fitbit

I would like to see an option to choose singles tennis and doubles tennis as an activity as they burn a very different amount of calories.

Very good request. It would be a good idea to add these specific ways to play tennis. Hopefully other tennis players vote for your idea. Thank you for sharing!

I've had an Alta for two weeks.  My Charge accurately measured my steps, distance and calories when I played doubles tennis.   The Alta doesn't recognize any active minutes at all during the 90 minutes I play.  Is there anything I can to do have the Alta automatically log my tennis activity?  Thank you!

I specifically came to the fitbit community forum to request just this! Thanks for posting.

AGREED. No good tennis option for tennis with Blaze.

Hi there,

Please consider adding activity tracking for activities like rollerblading and tennis playing for Fitbit Blaze.

Hi @Nurigs and commenters, thanks for sharing this suggestion. We’re excited to let you know that this Feature Suggestion has been developed by a third party developer, and can be downloaded from the Fitbit App Gallery available on Fitbit Smartwatches. You’ll find it by selecting your connected Smartwatch (such as Fitbit Ionic) in the Fitbit app, then choosing the ‘Apps’ tile and toggling to ‘All Apps’ at the top of the screen. You can then explore third party apps by category and choose your favorite of the relevant options available. Happy exploring!

Please note that if you have feedback or a suggestion for the third party app, you can contact the developer directly (if they have shared their contact details publicly). Open their app in the Fitbit App Gallery and you’ll find their contact details under ‘app details’ or ‘clock face details’. Thanks.

I do not see any third-party apps that will allow you to do scorekeeping or get tennis insight into your game. I have a fit bit blaze which should be compatible with most third-party applications. So again I would love to join in the voice of Fitbit users in stating the following: Expand the functionality of Fitbit devices to include scorekeeping for tennis, golf, basketball and others. Thank you

@LizFitbit your solution seems to work only for smartwatches. Are there any plans to support this in Fitbit Charge 2?
