Allow Weather app to work offline

I know that the Fitbit Charge 3 has a weather app, but according to the Fitbit community, you need to turn on all day sync for the weather app. My suggestion is to ask that Fitbit make accessing the weather not require your phone with you all day. For example, searching "weather" on google will give you a panel showing the current weather, and also the predicted temperatures. Can a Fitbit just get all the predicted temperatures in one sync with your phone? Then Charge 3 can just save the temperatures and display them according to the time.

Hello @x95  im not sure if all day sync needs to bre turned on,  my weather downloads fine without it.

However I  find I need notification services running,  since this is the service that the tracker talks to when it requests something.

My understanding is that the weather has a set schedule that it requests updates,  I've also noticed when traveling that sometimes it takes a few seconds to get the local weather.  My guess is that when requested,  the weather app checks for the phones location and if needed calls for an update through the web.

That’s an interesting idea @x95! It could be really useful to have access to the weather with only one sync during the day. I'm am sure a lot of users will like having this option available, thanks for sharing this suggestion. I hope it will get many votes! Woman Happy

Let's say in the morning you sync and get the weather. Then set out on an 80 mile trip up to the mountains with no Internet. Do you want the weather for your home or for where you now are?

BTW Google weather does need the Internet.
