I would like to see the heart rate tracking measure heart rate every minute vs every 5 min. This is something that would encourage whoop users to move over. Whoop measures heart rate multiple times a minute.
Hi @Jlarson87, thanks for participating in Feature Suggestions. We’re happy to let you know that the continued heart rate tracking feature already exists on all our Fitbit devices. To determine your heart rate, the optical heart-rate sensor in your Fitbit device flashes its green LEDs many times per second which helps to detect these volume changes in the capillaries above your wrist. Then your device calculates how many times your heart beats per minute (bpm). You can find more information in this help article. We hope you enjoy this feature and keep adding your suggestions!
