At the very least, they should remedy their dishonesty ASAP. All their materials online and off say they support multiple devices, and as many of us have learned the hard way, this is not entirely true! They should certainly make a public statement and correction ASAP before more and more people buy devices they can't use and have to return!
We need the ability to add 2 or more of the same trackers to our account. It is ridiculous to offer and sell multi colors and not give the ability to easily switch back and forth. I like the features of my tracker and think it is crazy to have to purchase a different tracker in order to have multiple ones on the same account. They get synced by a code, you should be able to sync easily because of that.

Okay this is going to be another request for allowing two of the the same Fitbit device to be on one account. I am not retired and am working up to getting into shape (before my wife kills me :>}...). I have obtained two Blaze Fitbit devices and they won't work for being on one account. I exercise between 1 1/2 to 3 hours per day and am constantly using Fitbit to check my BPM readings. Fitbit - would you PLEASE consider allowing two identical devices to be on one account? Please keep us posted in the process. I would be willing to server as a beta tester of this when you do. Thanks for listening and your consideration. D Pugh
I just purchase an Alta after having going through three Charges, so now I can have multiple devices on my account. However, it would be nice to have two of the same fitbit, since Charge is being discontinued and my latest charge is sure to fall apart eventually. Please address Fitbit!!
To improve fitbits account i believe you should be able to have 2 of the same device on 1 account. Some people prefer one over the others so why force someone to buy one they don't want just so they can sync both to the same account? I have 2 charge hrs and im am extremely disappointed that i cant sync them both with my account. They are 150 each and i dont see the sense in creating 2 accounts.

It's profoundly disappointing, isn't it? And strange that they completely overlooked this possibility and continue to ignore these requests. As I've said before, at.the.very.least they need to get honest with their customers, who are fooled by the "multiple device support" promise and spend money on something that won't work.
A very irritating work around for anyone who just really needs this RIGHT NOW, is to remove/replace one of the other of your trackers each time you switch. I know, it's incredible that they would force us to go through that. Just dumbfounding. Help keep the conversation going so maybe they will pay attention some day.
I just bought another charge hr for when my current one is charging, or when I want to wear another color. I can't sync them both! Please fix this!!! Let us name the different devices (like: charge black or older charge) and switch between them in the same account!! Having 2 different accounts is pointless during challenges or just tracking your daily goals over a long-term time frame
This idea was submitted over a year ago. I also want this feature for my two charge HR (pink and black for style reasons, duh!) but I can only replace. Any news on wether or not this is going to be implemented????
Oh, for crying out loud! I just bought another Charge HR in another color, and now I am finding out we can't have more than one fitbit in one account? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? How ridiculous!
Fine; I'll go through the hassle of returning the second one I bought. I wanted to wear one for work, and one for all the other times so that my "good" one doesn't get ruined. I work with horses, and my fitbit band is getting a little worn. My great idea was to buy a second one that I could wear all the rest of the time. Great; Not such a great idea; huge waste of money and time!!
Bought a second HR so I can switch between the two but found you have to delete the first HR in order to add the second HR. Would like to be able to change bands or at least switch back and forth
I LOVE my Fitbit. please let us know if the requests for syncing multiple of the same device to one account is being considered??? I want to be able to wear my tracker all of the time. Being able to wear different color trackers depending on where we are going/how we are dressed would help this issue. Now that other trackers are becoming available with switchable bands etc. I've started to research other products. Please add this feature!!!! I would love to stay with Fitbit!!! Thanks:)
Hello, it is beneficial to allow two of the same devices on one account.
For instance, my wife works at a job where her Fitbit charge HR gets dirty. Well, she has another Fitbit hr in a different color that she would like to wear when she's not at work. Currently, there is no option to connect both frackers.
This would be a helpful feature for many people.... Then people could/would buy Fitbits in different colors as well. Making it easier to switch/use multiple Fitbits that are the same model would be beneficial to Fitbit and to the users who would use this feature.
Seems like a fairly simple programming fix and potentially would make money for Fitbit and make it easier for users to switch their Fitbits.
Seriously frustrated right now, as suddenly it won't even let me replace one tracker with another, so I have no tracking until the first recharges. I feel like I might have to change platforms if this isn't resolved soon. Very annoying given the investment I have made in Fitbit hardware.
Return it for a full refund. Their loss. Fitbit is choosing to lose thousands, maybe millions, because they refuse to do this. Very strange business model indeed.
I also would like to have my both of my charge hr's on one account. I have an older one I wear when I am working in the yard and a new one I would like to wear for dress. I was excited when I read I could have 2 devices on one account until I found out they couldn't be the same kind. Like everyone else I can't understand why fitbit can't figure out how to do this. I wish I had researched this more and bought a brand you could have the same kind on one account. Like other people have said with all the different colors offered you could sell more if this was possible. Please figure it out.
yes please! I bought a second Charge HR so I could go back and forth between them when one is charging, since the batteries don't last as long with the HR monitors constantly running. I was really disappointed to find I could not have both on myaccount at the same time. If I want to switch, I have to trreat it as a new device and then any steps/activity/etc gained up tp that point on the day I do it are lost and it gives incorrect data. It's just not worth the hassle to switch back and forth. I'd love to have both linked at teh same time so I can switch between them easily.
I have justed contacted Fit Bit in regards to the feature request. I have also been told that the request will be sent to the developers for a possible feature inclusion in a future app update. I believe the only way this is going to be implemented is if more people contact Fit Bit and request such option. (Fit Bit Customer Service 877-623-4997). There was a response over a year ago, and still nothing done to implement the feature.
FIT BIT - implement the option to add more than one model to the same account = more sales.
I had the Charge HR in black but I love color to bought the teal Charge HR only to discover that I cannot have two HRs on my account. This is so stupid for FitBit to limit how many devices they would like us to purchase. Even though I have been very diligent keeping the teal strap clean it has gotten to the point that I can't keep the edges clean. I have tried a variety of techniques and nothing has worked. Presently charging up the black HR. I am probably going to get rid of all my FitBits and switch to Garmin. You are throwing business away.
