Allow period end date to be logged separately from period start date

I find it very frustrating that I have to enter an "end date" for my period when I log the start date. I don't know when my period is going to end (and I have a fairly regular cycle)! I can't imagine how difficult this feature is for women who have highly irregular cycles.

Please change the settings so that period start date and period end date are logged separately, alloe to edit period early too.

As someone commented in another thread, it should be as easy to log my period as to log drinking a glass of water.

Thank you!

Hi @m_dowNice suggestion, thanks for sharing. We look forward to hearing what other community members think about allowing to log the period end date separately from the period start date.

Currently when Fitbit predicts your cycle, if you are due to start menstruation on a Sunday, but you want to edit this to Monday, you cannot drag the selector along as it is across two separate lines! Please make it possible to drag between Sunday and Monday!

Hey Fitbit developers,

I love the app in general but every month I get extremely angry at the slider by which I can edit my period (and it's the only way). As a UX designer, it hurts my soul to have to pretty much try 5 times to edit my period dates because

1. there is no option to simply enter the dates through using system keyboard

2. the horrible slider on the calendar view is extremely slow, doesn't detect finger taps, I can't select only one of the dates to edit (the predictor works very well for me so it's usually just the end date that I need to edit), and

3. there is no detailed instruction how to properly edit the period (always makes me wonder if there is some *magical* order of tapping to get the results right without having to try to correct everything at least 4 more times).

Simple fix is to add another option to update the dates, like input fields for start and end date. Please consider that, as I'm sure this issue is affecting many women every month.

P.S. I'm using the app on Android 6.0.1. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

The slide-to-select your period cycle is not a functional feature on the calendar page of the Female Health Tracker. If my period landed on a weekend the cycle before, but it doesn't the next cycle, it is very difficult to edit it from beginning on a Saturday to a Sunday (because the calendar format Saturday is on the left side of the screen above Sunday on the right side of the screen). It would be SO MUCH simpler if you could HOLD to slide and select multiple days AND touch to select/deselect individual days. I know this seems kind of nit-picky, but it is what keeps me from using this feature in Fitbit. I really wish it were different because I hate having to use ANOTHER period/fitness app, when I could be getting the same thing all in one.

Hi @torimaffucci! Great suggestion, thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request.  A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.

The current period tracker can be frustrating to use when you need to edit the start/end date and length of your period. Rather than have a bar that you have to drag over to the date (and I inevitably always drag it too far), how about you just click on a date. An options list can come up and then you can adjust the dates & length of time.

The Female Health tracking feature will not allow you to move a period up or track when you take your particular form of birth control (if applicable of course). Sometimes my period comes earlier than it predicts, it would be nice to be able to edit that when it happens rather than have to wait to when it is almost over to change the dates.
