Allow siblings as contacts on the Fitbit Ace LTE

While setting up Fitbit Ace LTE watches for our two kids I added my wife and I as contacts. I also wanted to have the kids be able to contact each other but couldn't send an invite to their Gmail address. I assume this is because they are supervised accounts?

Fitbit staff, can we please have an update on: 

1) Fitbit to Fitbit chats for kids outside the family and

2) Fitbit to app for kids outside the family

It'd be great to be able to have other children (under 13) be able to be contacts as well. That way friends, step-siblings that may not be under the same Google household, cousins, etc. have the ability to call/message as well.
