Band loop replacements

I've had my Fitbit Versa for almost two years and the loop on my watch band cracked and finally broke. I chatted Fitbit support to see if they could mail me a new one and they said no since it's out of warranty. Lots of companies out there replace incidental parts like this - buckles for backpacks, buttons for shirts, etc. A watch band loop a 2 cent part Fitbit could mail in a plain white envelope, but apparently they can't do that, so now I either have to wear my band and have it stick out and get caught on things or I can't wear it. I've already decided to get an Apple Watch this Fall but this loop would have kept my band functional until then. So glad I'm switching brands. Apple's bands don't need the loop and they don't have delicate metal bolts to hold the band in place.

You left out an obvious third option: you can buy a new band.  If you don't want to pay fitbit, you can find many third-party bands on Amazon at reasonable prices.
