Battery full notification (or vibrate/alarm) so I put it back on

I love my FitBit and have been wearing it since September 2013. One suggestion: the FitBit sends a reminder when it needs charging. How about another message when it's fully charged to remind me to put it back on! Sometimes I drop it in the charger and forget it for hours... Just a suggestion!

My post, above, has been merged into this thread in error by the moderator. This thread requested a mobile notification that the Surge is full. I am requesting that the on screen charging icon is changed when the Surge is full.

When charging, it would be good to receive a notification when the battery is full (via phone notification - similar to battery low). It would also be good to see the actual % charged (in app and on device).

How about notification via text message/email if the device doesn't support push message?

I guess I need to add it would be nice to get this feature on Android, as it appears to not have been implemented in 2 years on Android or Chrome extension or Windows.

Seriously this is a much needed feature, its quite disappointing when a high end device lacks such a simple feature which even the cheap lower end devices have these days. I do not keep my surge connected to the phone all day, so its very useful if we can get this feature implemented to the surge soon.

I charge my FitBit at work while sitting at my desk, no steps lost Smiley Very Happy It would be super nice if FitBit would vibrate when charging is complete.  The app notifies when charging is complete but I have to be looking at the app.  All it would need to do is vibrate a few times as a prompt. Even though I'm not wearing it, I could still hear it vibrate while sitting on my desk.  It is still getting power so no battery drain to worry with, just a little alert to let the user know it's ready to go again.

I have Charge but think this could be applicable to all versions.

I would love it if I got my updates (battery low/you're close to your goal/etc) via texting rather than email. I do not allow email alert sounds to come through my phone and I check my email maybe 2x/week.

I would love to see this feature in the near future!

Please bring this feature to Android!  I keep missing steps because I put it on the charger and forget about it!

Yes please, a notification or email when our fitbit is charged would be very handy... We already get a email when the battery level is low, how hard can it be to send an email or give a notification that our fitbit is charged?

It would be nice to get an email when the battery is done charging. It would really help me to remember to put it back on.

No, it hasn't.

Please have Fitbit send text or alert on phone when it's battery is fully charged like it does when battery is getting low.

Hello!
That is a great idea a notification from the Fitbit app would be great or via email
but there is a problem with texts to mobile as that may cost fees (per text)

Hello😊
That is a good point about the fees; maybe it could be an option to get notified via email or text?

Other problem is that the fitbit can only do this if the phone / computer it is paired to is in range (10 metres indoors). The notifications you get for low battery are sent via the app syncing with the fitbit and then sending the battery level data off to the server. But chances are that when you put the fitbit on charge, you'll not be leaving the phone nearby, hence no way for app or server to know fitbit is at 100%.

Hi, I always forget to wear my Fitbit once the battery is full. We need a new notification on email or the app that my Fitbit is ready and fully charged.

Lack of this feature is one of the few things that irks me almost daily, considering I have to charge it so frequently, and also the fact they already have the programming in place to send a low battery notification. How hard could it possibly be? Maybe even provide options for getting notifications at any customizable percentage?

This would be a very welcome addition to the Alta HR.

I would love to have a function added to all Fitbit products.  It would be great to have a beep, or some sound, to notify you when your fitbit is fully charged.  I put the Fitbit on the charger at night and forget to take it off.......head out for my morning walk and sometimes, even forget in the evenings.  We are all busy these days and every little reminder is helpful.  I seem to always miss out on my numbers at least one day a week, or partial day.  If a beep would sound until it is removed from the charger, that would be great.

Just a thought - loved fitbit from the very first purchase.

I agree. This is a needed feature.  If it can't be done, at least send a pester reminder that the Fitbit is not one you after what should be a sufficient charge time.
