Blood pressure Fitbit device with historical tracking

It would be great if Fitbit either created a blood pressure monitor and a glucose monitor that would sync with the dashboard or if they would team up with another company (Omron, diabetic community app) to have their product sync with the dashboard instead of having to manually enter it.

I'd really love it if FitBit made a blood pressure monitor. There are products like this on the market but I'd really like one that just works with my FB account.

I would love to have a tile for glucose tracking.  Also being able to track sugar and carbs in the food log would be a plus. Right now I'm keeping 2 logs and it gets time consuming transfering info between the 2.

A CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) that is non evasive like gluco wise monitors and freestyle libre will be a game changing device in diabates care for caregivers and patients alike.

There is a constant need for people with diabetes to **ahem** their fingers three to four times daily. A CGM replaces this and there is technology out there that can do this using radio frequency.

Please add this to your developments sooner rather than later.

Even though i've seen prior posts, i would like to add my two cents towards glucose monitoring.
blood pressure would also be great.

The would be just simple field in the app for which I could put in the numbers.
On the web site, the ability to print them out, So i can give it to my doctor..
Time : Glucose Level
Time : Meal

rinse repeat....

Sugar is huge problem in today's society leading to obesity, diabetes, cancer and heart conditions. It should be the number one tracked item along with sodium and if Fitbit really cares about people there should not be a charge for this added feature.

Blood Pressure Machine which syncs like the other devices. Information collected should be displayed on the dashboard.

I am an elder guy with all those little things going with decreasing health, such as diabetes and too high blood pressure. It would be fine for me if I could enter those values (even when manualy) in the dashboard, in order for me to take a resume exported in Excel when visiting the doc. For the moment I use a MS Word document. I red somewhere that those features were implemented in the dashboard for releases before september 2014 and that they are no longer available. Thank you for reading so far.

I agree with you completely.  The online dashboard has a place for manual entries but it would be beneficial if FitBit would make a blood pressure device that would upload pressures to the app.

I have an Omron unit but it has its own cloud and it goes no where. Then I did have a Withings cuff before it died,  and it sync'd to its own site.

It is time for FitBit to come up with their own cuff unit.  It is beneficial to everyone as resting blood pressure is very important to the athlete and others. High Blood pressure is a killer and even with all the weighing, running and other things, it has to be detected.

Apparently blood pressure manual logging is going away soon, so even more so I'd like a monitor that syncs to my account 😕

The main reason I purchased the Premium Service was to log my BP and download a report for my doctor. I wouldnt have purchased it otherwise.

Please bring the Glucose tab back.  It is part of my morning routine to check weight, activities and log my glucose all in one place.  Why would you take such a useful feature away?

Right now, you have to manually enter the time of your blood pressure measurement using the "set time" button.  If you don't, the entry doesn't have a timestamp, just a date.

It's pretty likely that users are entering their blood pressure measurement just after reading it.  (Users who really care will probably have a sensor at their home.)  So it would be nice if entries were timestamped with the submission time, if nothing is entered.

Alternatively, you could just have a button that said "(now)" or some such, so I don't have to look at my clock, type in a number, hit tab, type in another number, set am/pm, and then submit.  (Particularly if I take several readings in a row, this gets old fast.)

I am a Diabetic and while I like your product you really need to allow use to track sugar consumption considering overconsumption is one of the leading factors in the declining health of the population. thank you for your prompt attention to this

For those of us interested in overall health, heart rate and blood pressure measurements are critical.  These should include measurements for resting, exertion and recovery.

This is so frustrating that the Food Log totals only show total carbs! The data is in there for each items listed. Especially frustrating as I have to manually add the foods I eat as they are not in the database. If I, and others, go to all the trouble to input the nutritional values, FitBit should let them be visible on the macro level.

The Fitbit Charge HR & Surge measure heart rate constantly. There's a tile on the dashboard to see the trend of heart rate in rest daily (from the previous 30 days including the current day..), on a seperate tile it's possible to see the heart rate during any time of the day.

It's also possible to check heart rate directly on those trackers.

Heart to have the ability to also monitor blood pressure (and knowing what the values mean). Smiley Embarassed

For those that have the more expensive model, HR is monitored, but BP is not.  Both readings are needed for those of us interested in heart health.  I prefer to take my own readings at the beginning, during and end of exercise.  At one time, even those of us with a Zip could manually record HR and BP and show those results to our doctor.  In their great corporate wisdom, FitBit "upgraded" their data base by removing those features.  My doctor is not interested in cute badges like the elevator badge or the 747 badge.  They do not provide the data he needs to make decisions about my health.

Why spend extra money for a Surge or Charge HR to get a partial picture?  Both HR and BP are needed and must be charted at specific times to be useful to health care providers.
