Bring back the Fitbit Web Dashboard

It would be nice to have a Fitbit dashboard app for PC. I'm a senior and it is hard to read the dashboard on my phone.

I absolutely hate the changes since Fitbit went to Google.   It's ridiculous you can't get to the dashboard on a PC.   Will be switching to a different brand of device after this one bites the dust.

I have had some problems with my Charge 6 going black and hard to get back.  But...with no web access, I will be looking for a different device.  I am sick of the tech-bros driving everything to a tiny screen on my phone!

It is beyond frustrating that we can no longer view the Fitbit dashboard on a laptop! It was so much easier to view and record with the larger screen, the app is difficult to use and I find it frustrating

The app is totally fubared now.  I was looking at my brother apple watch info and that is much cleaner so as much as I do not like apple I guess I am going to have to get the apple watch instead of a fitbit watch. I am a google girl but dang they messed up fitbit bad.

I AGREE.  I've been a Fitbit user since February 2012 & have twelve years' worth of data.  I used the web app b/c it was more robust and b/c I could extrapolate data by providing a starting & ending date.  So I could pull lifetime steps or steps for each year or compare steps during any given period over each of the twelve years.  BRING BACK THE WEB APP!!!

I totally agree with the frustration of removing the web desktop Fitbit dashboard info.  I looked at this when surfing the web at home or to record and analyze info.  You can analyze info so much faster than on your phone app.  I still use the phone app too but I also like choices.  If you're a numbers person, you want info and the android app limits info.  Also, I can't believe they got rid of the dynamic pace tracking along a recorded exercise runs.  That's one of the main things I would look at after a run to find out where I'm fast and slow.  It would be a little interesting to know what happened during a 10 mile run rather than looking at just the Fitbit defined mile splits.  I can figure out where I was warming up and how my body was responding.

I'm an old guy but also new to running so maybe I'm missing something, but there is no way Fitbit is listening to any runners on their staff.  If you have data, why would you hide it from your users?  Yes, bring back the desktop web version.

Completely agree!

I have been gone from Fitbit for a few years, and I can't believe how terrible it has become in such a short time. Managing things from your phone instead of from your laptop is such a pain, and a major quality-of-life downgrade. Also, many features are gone... especially annoying that the meals feature is gone.

Been spending the last few hours browsing for alternatives. 😞

Every change to the app and experience is awful.  I've been a fitbit user for a long time and have purchased at least 5 devices over the years.  If Google wanted to change all of this stuff, why did they even buy Fitbit? Totally missed the "if its not broke, don't fix it" ideology.  None of these changes have been better or added any value - just removed it.

I cancelled my premium today and will probably be an apple watch user soon.  No web dashboard is silly.  Sleep changes and colors are horrible, and today my heart rate finally updated and changed.  I dealt with the other changes begrudgingly, but this is the final straw for me.

Migrating my Fitbit account to the Google account was pushed and should not change anything ?
Now
1/ the Fitbit.com disappeared and redirects to Google Store ? I don't want to buy more, I want to access my statistics!

2/ my run Maps appear completely messed up, did I miss something there ?

There are already so many threads with the same request, and I just want to say I fully agree to all of them.

I would love to hear from Fitbit what the reason is that we have only an app exclusively. If you go this way give us at least export functions to use our data in another application? Or are the APIs closed? Couldn't one just get the data from there, or from Health Connect?

You can't even jump to a specific date in the Fitbit app, this is ridiculous!

Hard to type, scroll or select, too. Fitbit was great before Google started messing with it. I am now searching for another app and will have to purchsae another tracker, because this is just going down the tubes. User unfriendly. These people need to go to school and learn all about development, what is important to users and what groups should also be included in the consideration - like us older folks or those with poor vision.

Same here, How is everything going?

It's obvious that Google is reducing costs by cutting back on some items. Like others here I used my PC to gather data and track my progress with my Fitbit One. OK, what I had before was apparently costing too much so they've abandoned me. But my Fitbit One is still running so I keep a separate spreasheet on my PC and mostly ignore what's on my phone.

iS there any other company that has a device like the Fitbit One?

I am old and have used Fitbit for over 9 years. No access to my Dashboard via desktop is not only frustrating, but it has become a 'game changer' in my search for a product that will help me maintain/record my efforts to manage my overall health.  Trying to do this through an app is NOT GOING TO WORK FOR ME!

I agree.  I used to love logging my food via the website, I hate logging it in the app.  I'm with the OP, once my fitbit dies I'll moving to another brand even though I've had a fitbit of some kind or other for the last 12 years.

Thanks for your note....I am not usually vocal about 'products/apps ' either pro or con ; however, this is a direct con move by Fitbit.

INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATED AT THIS DECISION!

I've been using Fitbit since 2012 and out of nowhere they removed the web dashboard?! WHY?! Whoever made this decision needs to be fired. Dumb. Dumb dumb dumb!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, please bring back the laptop application.

bring back laptop app.  working on a 3" screen and trying to navigate and type is ridiculous.  You people are charging more and taking away

necessary tools that encourage folks to want to buy fitbit.  you're shooting yourself in the foot.  It is not convenient nor easy to work off a phone. Put the laptop app back.

Removing dashboard was the worst thing ever done to this platform. Bring back the original dashboard

Fitbit's decision to stop the browser dashboard was terrible. That is enough for me to switch to another smartwatch.

I track my calories in and calories burned, steps, workouts,  my sleep, blood glucose and more is there or will there be a replacement. I have a Sense 2 and have many years of records. Will the Fitbit trackers be vased out next?
