Bring back the Fitbit Web Dashboard

It would be nice to have a Fitbit dashboard app for PC. I'm a senior and it is hard to read the dashboard on my phone.

I'll never buy another pixel watch again without the website being available again.

I notice that the weekly Fitbit progress emails still contain a link to the non-existent web dashboard. Rather sloppy from Fitbit.

I agree with all of you. I will be getting a different device once my current one dies. Sorry to see Google changing everything.

Thanks for the website information. It's still annoying that they got rid of the dashboard. Not really customer focused.

Bring back the Fitbit browser application so I can view my data at a size I can read!  That means on my laptop!!!!!!!!

Ugh, when technologists don't actually care about the user. Just making it easier on themselves to maintain one platform.

Fwiw, I like having a dashboard on my PC to make a home page for my browser, keeps me motivated.

Now that I'm unable to access my watch settings on my computer instead of my cellphone app, I'll be looking for a different brand of watch soon. I can't see the screen on my phone for most things, never mind trying to make settings changes on it for my watch. Fitbit certainly shows that they don't care about the seniors who buy their products. 😪

@Gwen_G Are you able to access them settings via https://dashboard.exercise.quest/ which uses Fitbit API's to give us a web dashboard?

This link didn’t work for me. Most data was missing and water tracking was ludicrous: 6084 ozs. In one day.

YES!!!

I was able to access them settings via https://dashboard.exercise.quest/ which uses Fitbit API's to give us a web dashboard.

I had to click a couple links to "reset" and accept permissions.

I used EDGE browser if that matters on windows laptop.

I am very glad that now I have a working desktop app to review instead of phone app and little screen.

THANK YOU

Hey Googlers,

Xoogler here.... this is a huge accessibility issue.  Fortunately most of us get older, unfortunately, eyes do not age so well, if its not cataracts its a tremor, or near sighted-ness. There are so many age related issues that make phone apps inaccessible -- for example with big fonts its hard to even parse the data on your screen.  And isn't the whole point of fitbit to keep us living well into 'old age'?  And that means all of your currently loyal users can stay loyal!  And I mean all of them -- because we all age? right?    And I hope, you shall age too -- better old than dead, right?

So give us back our accessible, customizable, fitbit dashboard... that's it.  #bringitback #accessibility #ableism #age-well

Friends, give this a like if you can, let's get this to the top of the list.  TIA

Unfortunately I think we are all “shouting into the void” here.

Yes, this is shouting into the void. Hence why I keep reminding folks of this URL that emulates what we had with the Fitbit Dashboard.

I've looked at this and may use it, although it doesn't seem very user
friendly. I still am bothered that I paid for a fitbit and was happy with
the way it worked in the past. (I've probably gone through 10 of them at
this point). The website worked well for many years until they sold the
company. This is a corporate decision to take away usability, while still
charging the same amount. I shouldn't have to use a 3rd party (and share my
data with yet another entity). When this fitbit dies, I will be switching
to some other brand. There have been so many responses to this complaint,
but *none* from the company themselves.

The dashboard looks good, but I couldn't get it to load my stats.  It says "Error loading:Failed to fetch".  Again, this just shouldn't be necessary.

Providing access to an application from a PC supports accessibility.

What a disgrace that even with the outpouring of comments asking that the dashboard come back, Google just ignores them. I have a feeling they could bring it back by literally flipping a switch (or similar) yet they purposefully choose not to. What is the rationale for that????

I used the web dashboard to add meals and favorite foods for the My Foods tab. Meals were so much better than trying to calculate everything outside of the app and then enter a serving into the custom tab, or even the whole meal information to the custom tab, because then I have to have the recipe saved somewhere to know the exact amounts I used to get that caloric information. Fitbit really sucks now that Google owns it. I chose a Fitbit as my first smartwatch because of everything the app, website, and products offered, but the quality of all those has decreased significantly since Google acquired Fitbit. I'm considering switching to a totally different, non-Google brand watch as my next option, even though I've used Fitbit for years and have a lot of data connected to it.
