Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

Total agree with original post.  What used to be a clean, easy to read interface is now very hard to interpret.  Key info is missing and added views are useless.  I use Fitbit primarily for sleep tracking.  This may be the last straw causing me to move to another device and tracking service

This update - particularly the sleep graph - is the absolute worst update I’ve seen. It’s unreadable! The sleep data is one of the final remaining reasons I use Fitbit, and if it’s not changed back or updated to a legible one, I’m getting a Garmin. Sleep info is absolutely crucial to my training and this new chart is hideous.

The sleep reading didn’t need changing, bring back the old version! This has helped me decide that I won’t be replacing my old fitbit with a new one.

Sleep stages and related data are almost impossible to interpret in this new format.  I can usually adapt to changes in apps, but this one goes too far.  Please return to simpler and more usable views.  If these changes persist I’ll be looking for a new tracking device and app

Agreed.  Sleep stage reporting is main reason I use Fitbit.  New reporting is so hard to read and compare across days that, if this change is not reversed, I will probably stopping using Fitbit

Unfortunately after doing some digging, it seems Google is killing off Fitbit and will migrate to Google pixel eathes by 2025, this is why they're systematically running down the app, they should be notifying customers before we purchase a new Fitbit, I certainly wont ne buying a pixel, good luck.

1. I primarily use fitfit for sleep tracking. The new sleep graph is not well designed visual data display for analysis.

  • Where are the numbers on x-axis? That's a very big deal. If you make a graph containing quantitative data, have whole number benchmarks evenly spaced on an axis. As it goes now, it's even hard to eyeball how long an hour is. And as my sleep time differs every day, the visual length of an hour will change every day as well.
  • White background in the morning is jarring
  • Dottet lines create visual clutter
  • Total sleep stages time is inside the graph space and often goes over dotted lines - more visual clutter. If dotted lines are important, don't cover them with other information, if not important, drop them.

AI design. Bring back prior sleep graph.

I get up, I make coffee, I check my overnight stats. Today was ruined, it’s almost noon and I’m still pissed off.

What have you done fitbit!! Every morning, I check my sleep tiles, or sleep session, and yesterday morning, a new, "horrible" update was implemented and I could NOT read the sleep analysis! It is horrible. This is one of the main reasons I chose fitbit, because of its nicely laid out sleep analysis. If this continues, I will move on to another product! The worst update I have ever seen!!

Consider this another vote against the new sleep statistics screen. The new graphics are unreadable, incomplete and ugly. Please consider reverting to the old display.

The new fitbit app update is not as good. IT is lacking the restoration feedback about the quality of sleep. That feedback is critical to the premium service and now that feedback does not exist. Why? Usually, an update to software means an improvement but this is a BIG downgrade in information and useablity. Fitbit please fix.

It may be meaningless to say this about the new Fitbit app but it totally sucks. The old app was just fine and did not need replacing with this **ahem**. From the UI to to the way info is displayed,  it is practically useless. Me and my spouse always compare our sleep profiles in the AM to see what kind of day to expect. The old app Sleep profile I always bragged about to my friends to promote your product and help them understand their sleep health. There must be some significant cost savings to Google in our for them to change this app to what I considerr and downgrade. You will lose thousands of customers. Bring back the old app. I am on my 4th Fitbit watch but unless you change the new app to resemble the old app and info I will not be purchasing a new Fitbit from you all. Trying to be helpful but was a mistake to do this to your loyal customers. Life is hard enough and I could always count on my Fitbit but no longer. I don't think you could save enough server space to justify what you just did to your customers and marketshare. This app is poorly designed and at the very least way not ready to be released but is still a **ahem**.

I hate the new sleep stat graphic. It is not as easily readable and not as detailed. Plus, it's ugly.

The new update is reading pushing a lawnmower as if I were riding a bicycle.

The new sleep display and graphics absolutely suck. They look like they were designed by data analysts and not for the general public. They are basic, and not very user friendly. My wife and I compare and look at sleep data daily, and this new look, just SUCKS!!

You have made changes you believe to “improve the app” and the sleep “update” is a horrible decision.

I agree that the new sleep display is a major step backwards… looks like a bad excel graph.  What was the justification for making the change? Did the users ask for it, or was it someone’s bright idea to reinvent the wheel?

The new software update is horrible. I often wake up in the middle of the night and like to check how well I have slept up to that point. Dark mode is gone, so I am faced with a glaring screen on my iPhone that wakes me up further. Then in the morning, my additional sleep is hidden away somewhere under Other Sleep rather than stacked.

Please change the format back to what it was before.  It was much easier to view then.  This new format stinks!

I am absolutely disappointed to wake up and find that the sleep app has been updated. This is definitely not an improvement.  Most of the reviews on trustpilot are starred 1 not 5 with the sleep app update  being the main concerns.  Why do you keep updating the app without notifiying your customers in the first instance.  The sleep app is definitely a turn off , you really need to listen to your buying customers and return the original and better one ASAP.

The new sleep display is awful. Please give us an option to return to the previous display. It is impossible to get accurate readings on different sleep and awake cycles.

Please, please, please change the app back to the old version. It's way less user friendly, especially the sleep chart. It's soooo hard to read and understand. Other people I know with Fitbits are also super unhappy. Please listen to your customers!!!
