Menstrual Health tracker

Is there a way to revert back to the older version of the menstrual tracker. I had an update today and it is awful. It doesn't show you the full month, tell you what day of you cycle it is and no option to add when ovulation actually is. It just assumes everyone ovulated mid cycle. I see no option to add symptoms. Please allow us to revert back to the old version.

Fitbits just seems to be getting worse, First the clock face, then Spotify, the dashboard and now this

Thanks @Paula_11

Shall we add a feature request? I can see other people have done it about other features as well as can see a few 'bring back' type requests.... Clearly it's more than just this aspect of the app they have changed without user testing🙈. Might be the best way and then if it gets enough votes I think they have to respond?

I don't mind starting one 🤷🏼‍:female_sign:

The changes released this week to the menstrual health tracking are a step backwards. There is functionality missing and generally poor user experience. You can't see what cycle day you're on, can't scroll between months, I mean who's periods run in calendar months!? It's not intuitive.
Best Answer

Absolute codswallop! I work in the software industry and I know for a fact it's 100% possible for them to roll back changes. How maddening.

Thanks for sharing @Margaret182

I will start a feature request and then share here so people can vote on it.

As a user I cannot:
Add a period that occured in the past, even by a day
See my recorded periods over more than one calendar month
Edit the duration as intuitively as the previous version
Add notes to the period log alongside symptoms

Totally agree, this new update is not good at all. I cant see whether previous cycles were estimated or recorded, and logged symptoms don't show within the calender either. I'm now going to switch to a different app for this purpose and hope Fitbit realise it's no good and bring back the old features!

This update is total bulls*t!

Why taking away all the helpful features and making it crappy?!

We need the symptoms logging, scrolling through calender without separated months and the option to select a day and see the number of that day within the cycle back!

Otherwise I will consider to switch from Fitbit and Google Pixel as well.

Please bring back the precious version.

Issues with the new UI

1. Can only see calendar month. No one has a cycle that fits perfectly within a calendar month making this view useless. It need to be how it was before ie when could scroll up and down between months.

2. Can no longer click on a day to see what day of the cycle it is. Now would need to manually count. Why remove something so useful?

3. No way of adding ovulation

4. People are complaining in the community about lost data

5. Dates where symptoms are logged are no longer distinguishable by a dot

6. Cannot edit cycle by simply holding down and editing

7. UI is substantially more poor than previous. It's not aesthetically pleasing at all

8. The UX is dreadful. You have taken what was a very easy to navigate period tracker and made it cumbersome and clunky. It's extremely hard to navigate now

Women in the community are asking if any women were involved in this redesign.... We think not! Not a good look for Fitbit.

Please heed the call and bring back the earlier version. Please don't say you can't roll back (which one women got back as an email response which is shocking) as I work in software and know it's 100% possible.

I agree with all of you. I've been using this app for 7 years!!! I would love to revert to the older version. This new update is a downgrade and trashy. It makes things harder and it's not pleasing on the eyes. It's hard to tell which days are what with the new color style and for me I can't edit like by holding and adjusting anymore. So many extra steps now. The biggest issue is that the calendar is not scrollable anymore. You can't even see the whole cycle. Absolutely ridiculous! Who created this new update?! Were no females present? It seems that eveything became more difficult. Not user friendly at all. I hope they take note and change it back or else they might start losing customers 😞

Please revert to the older version it worked perfectly fine. This new version has taken so many useful features away.

1. Cannot scroll between months

2. Cannot add ovulation date after self testing(not everyone has ovulation mid cycle)

3. Extremely irritating to add cycle and Cannot edit previous

4. Cannot see what day of cycle it is, cannot interact with the calender at all

5. Dates where symptoms are logged are no longer distinguishable by a dot

6. Overall looks awful

I am so disappointed with this update, so many features taken away that were very useful. I don't understand how anyone thought this version was a good idea. My menstrual health is just as important as my physical health, there seems to be no thought or respect for that with this new version.

Only 7 votes so far. I hope more peole find this, because we won't get far without at least 50 votes.

Maybe we should share on social media, and get the word out

I found myself on this forum specifically so I could complain about this new update. It's such a step backwards, it almost makes it unusable, I have no idea who would think this is an upgrade but I sure hope they see the complaints and revert it back or I may have to find a new app.

Soooo this is curious!!! I uninstalled Fitbit because I was having problems with my aria air, I reinstalled and the weight app and the menstrual app are the older version..... I checked the Fitbit version which said it was updated on the 3rd March @Margaret182

I just did the same. Uninstalled it and reinstalled it back and I also got the older version!!!

I'm just looking to see if there's any way to pause any more updates

I've paused all app auto updates.... I looked and the app is the most recent version so I don't understand why it's reinstalled with the older weight and menstrual app
