Bring the weight trend line back

The app update has removed the trend line on weight tracking. Please bring this back! It was so helpful to see at-a-glance progress, the new design looks cluttered and it's hard to see the trend towards the weight goal

Yes, please! I weigh every day and it is extremely cluttered now - the trend line was great for smoothing out fluctuations. I also use TrendWeight, I'd be happy for a Hacker's Diet type of lagged weight trend too.

Exactly! The new way of showing the weight data is completely useless. The trendline was a very useful feature, please put it back. And the "all time" or yearly trends were very good, too. I don't even understand why would anyone have the idea to these changes? I can't imagine that the reason behind was the user satisfaction. At all.

+100 to this.

Trend line was the most useful feature of the weight tab, I have zero reason to use this now. Please bring it back, there was no reason to remove it.

Please restore the trend line, the new view, while matches the esthetics more of the application as a whole is less useful.

Making sth look better is not a success if in a process you downgrade the functionality.

The date lost since start of a goal is also gone, which is a shame.

The weight trend line was the single most useful part of the app.

Please bring back the weight trend line. Now the weights tab is practically useless as I'm unable to view my progress as it's buried in water weight fluctuations.

Another vote for bringing back the trend line. They exist for a purpose.

Yes please bring back the trend line. Otherwise, I will have to abandonw FitBit product. I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED by this change.

Yes, please bring back the trend lines. And while you're at it please restore the weekly summary average. Why strive to make the app useless?

Just another disappointed user. For a while, the top of the weight page was cut off so you couldn't switch time periods on the graph.

But now, without the moving average I don't even recognize my own weight graph.

I have been using Fitbit for 8 years!!! Now all that data is gone I can't see any trends on my weight journey only some dumb **ahem** average from year to year. 8 years and 5 devices!!!!! This was the last straw that broke the camel's back.

I agree with all the other commenters remarks. I use three different apps to track certain metrics with fitness. By far Fitbit app was my go-to for weight because of the average line that no other app did. You essentially turned this app into every other one and nothing stands out about it now. It's bad enough that you got rid of the challenges which is what drives a huge number of people to push themselves farther and harder. It seems as though Fitbit is moving away from fitness and the pursuit of goals? Seems counterintuitive to me.

This was the worst update to date. Makes the weight management of the app completely pointless. Anyone know any other trackers that do this still as well as similar features?

Google... what have you done??

The weight loss section of the app was one of the reasons I would recommend the fitbit ecosystem to friends and family for the purpose of bodyfat/lean body mass management. Being able to accurately assess the path we've been on, over an extended period of time, was extremely rewarding and useful. In particular, being able to see the LBM kg and the BF kg in the one graph, over any arbitrary timescale, was so useful. For example, I would diet by periodically lifting weights and eating at maintenance, followed by cardio and dieting. And you could see it, by how the bodyfat measurement spikes after dieting starts (likely difference between glycogen depleted and non-depleted states), and then reduces as the diet progresses. Now you can't see what's happening. Seeing feedback and progression is motivating.

This stripped down, crippled version is like a shareware version of a real product. And I pay for a premium membership! I've been using Fitbit since the Charge 3, and have bought 3 different versions, now on the Charge 6, and have purchased them for several family and friends. Please institute similar or improved funcitonality again.

The trend line was my favorite part of the app. I loved to watch how it changed every day and throughout the year. Bring it back! The app is getting worse.

Having been a user for the past 10 years to discover that my entire weight history has been removed without giving me an option to download is ridiculous. I may as well use another app as I no longer have a history with the product. My fitnesspal I see an opportunity for you..

Anyone found an alternative? It's clear Google have no intention of bringing this back.

Every single upgrade to the app has been a downgrade to the usability. Every graph and chart is useless now. I've been with fitbit since it was basically a pedometer you clipped to your clothes. I don't want to give up all that history or data but it's clear to me that Google want to kill the product that we've loved and been loyal to for over a decade. I don't want your **ahem**ty google watch. I want my fitbit. If you're going to destroy it, I'm gonna look elsewhere not at more of your products

I use this site, it imports your weight from Fitbit https://trendweight.com

Yeah im done!

Changed brand after 10+ years luckely i could import my data to the new app was a good run but sadly a multi bilion company always destroys something that works. @NancyJames i changed the watch and i love it and im using Withings scale with its app for weight it automaticly imported all fitbit data.
