Cartoon challenges

I think that a cartoon trail would be fun, meeting Gertie the dinosaur at the beginning of the trail to whatever is the latest in cartoon characters at the end.

 

This idea could be expanded to travel through the universe, under the sea, through alternative worlds, into virtual reality.  I would absolutely love to be able to walk on a treadmill with virtual reality goggles on, while walking through somewhere which doesn't really exist.
