I second this suggestion. In fact this was a one of the key factors in my decision to go with iPhone xD max rather than the note 9. I want to be able to go biking, running without have to bring my phone and keys along (women’s wear sucks at having good pockets.) so getting the iwatch so I can use August app on it... even though I love love love fitbit’s app and the way it saves and displays data. Add August app and keep that battery, heart rate monitoring, and swim feature and I will likely be rotating back to android/Fitbit setup next round of device upgrades lol.
This would be great. I could actually go for a jog hands free if I had tunes and my keys built into my watch. Or a leisurely walk with my starbuck card on my watch too. Would be awesome.
Hi everyone, and thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about connecting Fitbit with August smart lock with us. Our web API and smartwatch SDK are open which means that the service you are wanting can actually integrate with Fitbit. We’d encourage you to make this suggestion to the service and direct them to our existing API and SDK and resources such as the web dev API community. You will likely be able to email them via their contact us page or customer support, or they may have their own ideas board like this. Or encourage them to reach out to Fitbit directly.
Thanks for your participation in the Feature Suggestion forums, we look forward to making Fitbit more useful for you.
