I own a Freestyle Libre continuous glucose meter, a Withings BP cuff and Withings scale all purchased for use with Apple Health so I could track everything in one app to see correlations. Realizing "when you go to compute don't use a fruit" I trashed my Apple Watch and replaced it with a Fitbit Sense. Wondering if we'll ever see similar interface.

The cost of Premium does not come that cheap at all, and many of us do not want to have to put blood sugar levels in mannualy, when we are using the Abbot Freestyle Libre app on our phone that reads our blood sugar levels. Any ideas when the Librelink app will automatically work with the Fit Bit sense 2?

Hi @Jaysblueaus123

I've moved your post to the feature suggestion board so other people can vote on your request.   Unfortunately, we don't have any endpoints to post blood glucose data to our data services.   If there is a lot of interest, we can work with PM to get a solution.

Best,

Gordon

Would love to see ability to connect Freestyle Libre. I see integration is available for OneTouch Review glucose monitoring. Please add Freestyle Libre and Dexcom.

While we wait for this feature, prior responses direct users to integrate with the web API.

While not a bad idea, there is no endpoint in the API for blood glucose submission. Please consider adding that the the API so as to enable developers to explore solving this in their own.

Please reconsider moving this item up in priority. Many of us would very much appreciate FITBIT being willing to expand the glucose device options. Not just to freestyle but a wider selection. With diabetes being of epic proportions this option could very well be an important marketing feature, once again setting Fitbit apart from more generic devices. I’m not sure putting this suggestion in an application specific thread is giving the idea the support it would receive if more apps were included

I use the Freestyle Libre 2 sensor and app. It would be nice to be able to connect the Libre app to the Fitbit app so I can see my glucose readings in the Fitbit app.

Just pointing out that probably about half of the current Fitbit team will have high blood sugar later in their life.

Also, half of the population (at least in the US, other regions depends) will have it. This is a large opportunity.

Dexcom is coming out with an OTC CGM. https://www.dexcom.com/stelo

I wanted to link to my Freestyle Libre 2, but the One Touch integration in the glucose section makes you check a box to say you have diabetes to get past that part in the process (unless you are someone else’s guardian or a medical professional managing a clinic or something). I don’t have diabetes, so I have no box to check. There should be a box that just says “I have a continuous glucose sensor” or something similar without having to check a box for an incorrect medical diagnosis.

another big vote for an app that would work with freestyle libre 2.  I know that is available for the Apple watches but not everyone has that budget.

Look forward to maybe seeing something soon.
