Costumize Exercise/Workout Mode Display Order

My use of Fitbit Charge HR differs according to what I'm doing.

On normal use (99% of the time) I just need time, steps and other data if I feel curious.

While I'm using it for exercises, instead, I need other data first, like the distance or heart rate as the first data on button click (because it's messy to run and click click click or tap tap tap until I reach the data I need. So my suggestion is to having the possibility to modify the data order on both uses: normal and exercise. It would be nice to have the option in the dashboard. thanks.

Being able to customize run mode would be great. To be honest, I don't care how many steps I've taken while running, or how many calories I've burned. Being able to look afterward - sure. But while I'm running, they get in the way. It takes 5 swipes to get to the pace!! Please let us add/remove as we'd like.

My thoughts exactly, Thank you for the request.  The modes I consistently view during "free run" are the current pace, average pace, and heartbeat, and I rarely look at the others.  In addition to this request, It could also be handy for the Surge to auto-cycle through those desired modes as well (say every 3 or 4 seconds) so you don't have to keep swiping back and forth.  This of course would be a feature that could be turned on and off.

When in Run mode on my Surge it would be great to be able to choose what you want in the main screen.  For example I would prefer to have my Pace be in the center in large type rather than the time that I have been running.  So far really liking my Surge!

I would love to be able to customize the display to show my HR during excercise as first thing to show when I press the button in my Charge.

I agree, I know we already have the ability to decide the display order with the button press when you're not in "excercise/activity" mode, but when I am tracking an excercise, I'm more concerned about different things than when I'm sitting at my desk.

If I'm tracking my running or weight training, I'd want to see heart rate followed by distance in miles, but when I'm at my desk, I want to see the clock followed by heart rate.

I noticed that the Tap Gesture can be configured to show whatever you want also. It's atleast something during the excercising.

During Exercise Tracking, it would be great to be able to have a custom information particular to the exercise tracking compared to regular wear.

Example:

Regular Day I like to have this set up: Time, Steps, Floors, Calories, Heart Rate.

During Exercise Mode I would like to have this set up: Exercise Time passed, Heart Rate, Calories.

This would be great!

It makes NO sense that we're able to customize the order of the display for normal mode, but as soon as we turn on workout mode there is NO way to change the order.

One of my favorite things about having the Fitbit is that I have a watch again (I hadn't worn one in over a decade, since my phone updated the time automatically and I got sick of my watches), but when I'm working out I have to either check my phone or another clock in the area, since I have to scroll through a TON to get to the clock on my Fitbit.

We all have our own preferences for just about EVERYTHING, shouldn't we be able to customize workout mode? Since the regular mode is easily customizable, I can't imagine that it would be difficult in a software upgrade...

I completely agree! On a run, knowing my distance is much more important than steps taken, calories burned, or flights climbed. I would also like it if my goal could be different on exercise mode. I would have my wrist vibrate every mile on a run, not every 10,000 steps! Like @KatKealy said, "We all have our own preference for everything." Thanks!!!

Thanks for sharing this idea! I really like this idea. Have the option to customize our tracker display for our daily basis and when working out.

I hope to see this idea implemented soon! Woman Very Happy

I love this idea! I want to be able to see how far I've run at first glance, not have to tap tap tap tap while running!

This needs to be implemented and cannot be too difficult to write the code as it already exists within the  "home screen" set up.

When I am riding I would like to see the current time, and also either distance or heart rate, depending on what ride i am doing. I dont want to view the stop watch, as i go by distance or time (not too hard to figure out how long you are riding for if you left at 1 and its now 230!)

For other exercises, again you can customise them to display what you would prefer. If i am walking, heartrate and distance would be more useful as i can tap through easily to see the rest.

Has any one got any experiance with programming and know what it would take for FitBit to impletment this? its a pretty fundamental function that users should be able to change, and the more votes and comments this get sthe more interest the programers will take of it.

Similar to the various clock faces, allow users to choose different stats displays for the different exercise modes.
