Create a Vegan Group on Community Feed

Adding an open group called “Vegan”, similar to Vegetarian, to accommodate the tens of thousands (if not more) as an open forum for Vegan specific healthy eating.

Every week or so someone realizes that a Vegan group is needed and takes the time to start one,  not realizing that dozens before her have done just that.  Why does this action taker not know that many already exist?  Because they are invisible!

This makes no sense!   Vegan group administrators are put in a position of vying for members,  whereas if there was an "open " vegan group we could all work together.

In addition,  if the invisible vegan groups could have the option of being "open ", it would stop multiple identical groups from being created needlessly.

Dear Fitbit Staff,

So many people have become vegan over the years for health, ethical and environmental reasons - mine are all the above plus my doctors reported that my     cholesterol went from 214 as an occasional vegan to 186 as a fully committed vegan and my LDL 123 to a 96 - by changing my diet I improved my health significantly- isn’t this what fitbit is about? Helping us reach our health and fitness goals?

please add a vegan community group

Please, please do an open vegan board!! I am in so many private vegan boards it’s ridiculous. It makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to post so everyone can see.

Thank you @RokClimbr!  I totally agree, we need an OPEN vegan forum.   It makes sense for FitBit to finally set up the forum, now.   This is a long-overdue accommodation, for an unmet need, of a fast-growing demographic: vegans and those in transition to becoming vegans.  Plus, it helps the animals, and the planet!

I can vouch for @Wolfman - There are numerous duplicate “Vegan” groups, but they are closed (because FitBit doesn’t allow users to setup Open groups), and because they're closed, they get duplicated. I see someone starting a Vegan group WEEKLY, if not more often.   Let’s eliminate redundancy and put our Vegan heads together in 1 forum ... the dream is in the TEAM.

I absolutely agree, please open an open vegan group! Currently I’m in so many hidden vegan groups. I didn’t even knew they exist until I read some comments on the vegetarian board. Why not bring all of those vegan groups together, so we can more easily give each other tips & tricks and share recipes, and avoid duplicate content.

It’s weird that there isn’t an open vegan group. There are so many people who want it.

Yes please add an open vegan group!!! Plant based eating is a huge thing right now with everyone trying to be healthier. As a vegan, I would love to easily connect with like minded individuals. Thank you for your consideration, Fitbit, and I look forward to seeing an open vegan group created.

I love this idea and so do all my vegan friends and our vegan shops and gyms, think its also great to have an open vegan section for everyone and to be totally inclusive and accessible to everyone. 😊👍

Great idea I looked for a vegan group for ages as the vegetarian group meal ideas don’t always apply to vegans

I’m looping forward to see an open vegan community on Fitbit
