Customizable swipe actions Versa and Sense series

Currently, the Versa device has pre-programmed actions for swipe events. Swiping up shows the fitness dashboard, swiping down shows notification history, etc. It would be nice to be able to customize these actions. For example, a user could change the swipe up action to launch a different app (wallet, calendar, etc). Or, if they find the swipe down action for notifications redundant with the long press of the top right button, they could assign the swipe down from top action to launch a different function within the watch. This could be coordinated with another suggestion I had which was customization options for the hardware button actions (single vs double vs long press actions).

it would be nice if there was a guesture option on fitbit i.e.. instead of having to switch on, pull down, quick access bar and then having the music options or any othe options it would be easier if there were guestures such as:-

  • double tap:- switch on do not disturb
  • swipe right or left:- switches to the next or previous track
  • swipe up or down:- one side for volume up and down and other for brightness.

this is jsut the basic idea. you guys know what I mean you are the developers. you'll figure it out.

Since the haptic button is to be avoided at all costs, allow access to music controls, play, pause, stop, and volume, from either the swipe left or the swipe right menu. Also allow the icons to be rearranged on the swipe left menu so the most often used can visible at the first swipe,

Hi @SGK1945, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to customizable swipe actions on Fitbit Versa, Ionic and Sense. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around.

I just submitted a similar suggestion.  I want to have easier access to the music menu on my Versa 3 so I don't have to use the haptic button.  If I could add the music app to any of the swipe menus that would work for me.  Since this suggestion was made in 2018 I'm not holding my breath.

P.S.  I also would like to control music while  using a GPS workout without losing the GPS signal.
