It would be great to adjust the quick add options from 8, 16, 24 ounces to a custom number. We all have different water bottles that have different ounce amounts and would be great to be able to change it for easy adds. This is the only dashboard I have trouble updating.
+1 for customizable water sizes. Seems a bit ridiculous to scroll through 2 years of comments about this issue and see no change. It's just so obvious and seems like it should have already been addressed.

I agree. My water bottle is 20 oz, and right now there is no way to quick add 20 ounces. I have to wait until i finish two, then add 16+16+8 to get to 40. I don't want to have to type in 20 each time. I would love to be able to customize the quick add features.
Are you talking about fitbit phone app? Got charge 2 and it would be very nice to have ability to simply add water intake directly from charge 2. Just like starting, stopping exercise.
Hi, I do vote for this feature. I use 200ml glass and 650 ml bottle for water. I have to add both these manually. If it was possible to customize the quick add then it would same me time and make is very convinient to log water.
yes, please let us customize the ounces/ml in the phone app for the quick add. I know when i google this, it's been an idea for years. Please make it a reality.
I just add water intake in another app called Hidrate. I've even ordered hidrate bluetooth bootle so it will remind me when i need to drink more (crowdfunded company so some people waited even 1 year after ordering, but they said they started shipping now). Hidrate app takes into account your age, weight, step count and weather conditions behind your window so you will have to drink more in the hot summer day. Wheel indicator in the app show how much you should already drink till now.
Hidrate app send water intake info onto iphone health tab and then fitbit app is using the same data.
I'll just wait when Fitbit will buy Hidrate so it will be one creation 🙂
By allowing us to edit the "Quick Add for Today" options, we could add the water bottles or cups we typically have. For example, I have a 20oz (.6 L) water bottle and thus cannot use 1 glass, 1 bottle, or 1 lg bottle since they are all incorrect for what I'm drinking. If I was able to quickly press a Quick Add option for my water bottle it would save me the time/trouble of entered 600 4+ times a day manually.
It sounds like a small change, but small quality of life changes should be easy to implement and can go a long way in getting users invested.
I would love a month long challenge with winners per week (maybe a point basis for end of month winner). I would also like longer term, 3, 6 or 12 month with weekly or monthly winners in addition to the overall winner.
Personally, some of the activity groups on FitBit do this on their group site. Consistency is Key activity group for example does a check in on Friday night/Saturday morning and publishes a weekly medal standing. You have to put in a minimum of 70,000 steps per week to stay in the group, but if you put in over 100,000 steps for a week you are in silver medal status... 150,000 steps per week gold medal. That group also has a "Sunday 2 Miler" group members can join: log in with your commitment to put in at least 2 miles and respond back with the total miles you manged to put in for the week.
Other groups have longer term challenges with the leader board ranking group members by the steps put in.
Great suggestion - join some groups and watch your standing in the leader board 🙂 And keep on stepping!
This is exacty what I would like to see most changed in the app as well - customised quick add water levels as the ones in the app are not equivalent to anything I use. We have 250/350ml glasses and 500ml bottles so being able to add these would be much better.
