Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

What's the plan to replace this feature?

I've bought a charge each edition for 3 family members each release with exception of buy a pixel for myself this latest round.

Why a pixel watch?

Not for the battery....

I bought the pixel watch to be part of the Fitbit family/community for challenges.

Please announce the next community gamification feature before removing the core feature that so many of us are here for.

What? No more challenges? I do 10 a week and have made many good friends in the process not to mention the continued motivation these activities provide. If this happens I’ll stop purchasing Fitbits and switch to a different brand. I’ve been doing challenges since I purchased my first Fitbit in 2016. Better re-think this bad revenue loss. Lots of users with get something else.

Agreed! Keep the challenges!

My partner is recovering from cancer, we’re currently in different parts of the country. Challenges keep us connected & more importantly, they keep him moving & motivated.

Every time he completes it, he messages for me to set up another.

It seems absurd that you’d close these down! It’s one of the reasons we bought them.

I've been a fitbit user for many years and even bought all of my family members fitbits so we could compete in challenges. Please do not remove this feature.

Agree, it's a TERRIBLE decision. The challenges keep me motivated. I have a group workweek hustle that I've been in for around 4 years and love the weekly challenge. I honestly can't understand the thought process behind getting rid of this feature, it's part of the reason a lot people choose fitbit over better devices. The email I got said it was to enhance the experience, it REALLY won't be doing that! Come on Fitbit, listen to your customers!

Keep the Challenges

The best part about Fitbit is the challenges and I won't be buying another off they go

I agree I have had a fitbit since 2009. I am now on my 7th one and I love them. I turned down a galaxy watch last year which integrated better with my devices and had some extra features but did not have challenges which connect me with lost of people and large groups every week.  They are my gym buddies and my motivation.  Keep challenges

I have been a Fitbit user for the past 3 1/2 years and it has changed my life. Challenges have been the most important thing in my journey. It also brought me into community with other ladies for accountability and friendship. If you remove these features, you can be sure that you will be losing more customers than you ever would’ve gained otherwise. Trust and believe that everyone that I know, will be cancelling their membership if you remove the challenges from the features. Don’t dash the spirits of SOOOOO many that love this about fitbit.

My friends and I ONLY continue to buy and use Fitbits for the challenges and community features. Its what makes Fitbit unique and why the average Joe buys them on recommendation from friends. Removing challenges makes no sense unless you want to destroy what makes them so popular.

I bought a Fitbit for the community. Without the community, I could have just bought a pedometer. Are you turning my watch into a plain old pedometer?!

The challenges are the only reason many people remain on Fitbit instead of going to a competitor. Competing against others is motivation. I come on the app every day to be in challenges with friends that I have met here. I have been doing challenges with some of the same people for years....YEARS! You are just going to take that away? Please reconsider such a stupid idea.

Please do Not Delete Challenges, Adventures or Trophies. These are major attractions for Fitbit Platform and you would be making a serious mistake by removing this feature. Notice that if you degrade this way the Fitbit brand you'll be moving all of us loyal Fitbit Customers directly into the Apple Watch platform. You have been warned.

They need at least a month of data that shows how much app traffic they've lost because of this before they kill the app and try to get everyone using Google Fit. Not sure what they are thinking, given the recent blood pressure patent they reportedly have now. Like, way to lose customers and good will before you try to sell a new device.

Anyway, I'm looking at alternatives that have decent sleep tracking for when my subscription ends in October.

Like others have mentioned, I have been using Fitbit for several years now, since the Fitbit one and zip days. I've bought several models over the years. My current device just died. I recently (like literally last week) replaced it with a new Fitbit. The main reason I stick with this brand is for the challenges with my friends. I am very competitive and quite honestly need the motivation some days to actually work out. PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS FEATURE. If this is actually happening, I might as well return my device as there are other brands out there with more features. I stuck with Fitbit out of loyalty. Please be loyal to your fan base now. It's very obvious these challenges are important to us!

I use this feature all the time with a group of people all trying to do more!
This is the only reason we use Fitbit and pay for premium!!!

I only picked fitbit so I could keep in touch with friends and do the challenges. Having the groups helps us push ourselves and we can even tell if someone is unwell based on their step count. If no challenges I'll leave my fitbit and no longer recommend people to buy them. I have no real use for it otherwise.

Fitbit and google it is not a improvement if you remove something that is loved and used by all.

The challenges is what set you apart from apple.

There are a lot more things I could be doing with my smartwatch had it not been a fitbit but a apple watch but I chose fitbit soly because of the challenges where I can compleet with friends without acually always needed to talk to them. It's casual and optional to talk and I love that. You would be removing the one function that made you stand out from the others, why would we use you if you remove that?

I’m canceling premium membership due to this.

This is a terrible decision. If you dont reverse it you will lose a huge chunk of your customers. You'll never get another penny from me if you remove the challenges. The copy/paste reply that we are all getting is also insulting.

I bought my first FitBit in 2012 and have replaced old ones with new ones, mostly because of being part of a group and challenges. It’s motivating and keeps you connected with others with the same goals. Why would you get rid of this???  Bad decision. Now it will be just another fitness tracker. When my Versa breaks, Apple Watch for me. No reason to keep my Fitbit.

No more challenges?

No more badges?

This can’t be.

I have a Fitbit Fam who are truly motivating me because of the Bingo games and Workweek challenges.

I don’t want another app.

Keep thing the same PLEASE 🏃‍:male_sign:

Please keep the challenges and groups. This is what sets fitbit apart from other trackers!

I certainly won't be buying a Google watch, which seems to be the intention of this ludicrous decision.

Come on fitbit, read the room. Your customers are saying it loud and clear.

I use the challenges everyday.

Just received the email about canceling challenges, bingo, etc. This is a very motivating feature, please do not get rid of. It is the only reason i.stay with fitbit.

Only reason I purchased by 4th Fitbit is because of the Challenges. Please don't make this retrograde step.

It’s the reason most people have a Fitbit - there will be a huge exodus to apple! Keep the challenges or improve them, don’t just remove!

I'm on my third Fitbit because of the challenges.  The challenges are the reason I stay motivated, and in contact with my international challenge buddies.  If this function is deleted I will have no reason to continue purchasing a Fitbit product.
