Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.
same for me..i wanted to switch to an apple watch for ages and the only reason i didnt do it was my fitbit comm and our daily challenges! guess im getting my apple watch after all..
I do all the challenges with my friends and we absolutely love the Bingo. Without these, I doubt any of us (me for certain), will use the Fitbit like we have been. It will no longer be a fun thing to have. I also, will not purchase a Google watch. For what? No thanks.
I share the sentiments of so many who have posted before me. Challenges are the reason I have continued with Fitbit rather than shifting to some other tracking app/device. This is terrible news. My friends on Fitbit and I participate in the workweek challenge every week. I’ve met new people and connected with friends because of challenges. The social community is encouraging, both toward our step and fitness goals as well as life in general. If challenges were eliminated and I needed a new Fitbit I doubt I would buy another one.
Please reverse your decision and continue the challenges facet of the Fitbit community. Thank you for listening.
They are removing the only feature in the challenges and trophies that I use and has kept me with Fitbit, if they don’t reverse this decision I won’t be purchasing another Fitbit smart watch!
Challenges are the most important thing, why we use Fitbit in our family and friends. Trying to get most steps on weekends and on 5-week days. If this feature will be removed, we don't need to choose Fitbit anymore. Please also keep the challenges trophies/stats, to see how often a person won a challenge.
Disappointed to hear the news about the depreciation of challenges and adventures. Feels like a big mistake - it’s a big reason why a lot of people go for a fitbit over other devices. So to remove it seems to show a lack of understanding or care for customers. Hope fitbit take note of the feedback and rollback this change.
I am so disappointed to hear Fitbit is dropping the challenges feature. My daughter and I, who live thousands of miles apart, use the challenges every week to spur one another on in our fitness goals. It is the one standout feature that has kept me returning to Fitbit when my devices need to be replaced. I just purchased my 4th Fitbit tracker and would have switched to another brand if I had known this change was coming. So bummed.
!!!horrible news that challenges will be discontinued! They are the main reason I continue to buy fitbits. I definitely achieve better steps by being challenged amongst friends. Please do not take them away.
Like so many others I love the challenges and trophies. It helps motive me. I worked hard for the trophies I have. If you go through with getting rid of challenges at least replace it with something else fun. If these go away I will get rid of my Fitbit, no longer be a customer, and switch to a different product to track steps.
I’ve been with Fitbit for 10+ years. Started with Fitbit One, currently on Sense. During that time, there was no doubt I’d go with some other brand. Challenges was what kept me staying. I have a small group of friends, but it was them who kept me motivated everyday. It’s the challenges they’ve been starting. I loved it and that’s why I got Sense which wasn’t cheap. I could go with some other brand, but access to my friends and other peoples’ comments in various groups, the culture - was what convinced me to go one more time with Fitbit.
Now, I feel this could be gone. If that’s the case, I have no more reasons to stay…
Please keep the challenges! I am heartbroken to hear of such a foolish move. These challenges have connected so many of us from around the world with a common thread. As we strive to get healthy, encourage one another, share our personal cultures and lands, we’ve created a family bond and to have you recklessly destroy it by the stroke of a pen is beyond words. I can’t help but feel this move is by someone sitting in a corner office looking at the bottom line with no clue on how their move affects real people. Open challenges created an open door policy and have paved the way for our family to grow beyond measure. Your closed group policy defeats this purpose. Take a step back and look at the big picture. It’s more than an app to us. Leave our challenges please!
We have a group of ten and we all purchase/update our FitBits “due” to the challenges. Getting rid of challenges and badges is the most “ridiculous” thing that FitBit could possibly due!! This is soooooo Stupid! FitBit needs to change this decision NOW and KEEP the challenges (and badges)!!!!
I believe it’s Google driving this. Reason#1 why I am getting an Apple Watch after I cancel. This decision was unacceptable! This was the only reason my entire Family has fitbit!
We have a group of ten and we purchase/update out FitBits ONLY for the challenges!! The idea of removing all challenges is Ridiculous! FitBit needs to reconsider this Stupid Idea immediately!! Please KEEP the Challenges (and the badges)!!!
Either keep the challenges or announce that Google is going to create new ones for Fitbit. My Charge 2 is old so I will have no problem getting rid of it and getting something that's not Fitbit. This makes no sense at all to get rid of the challenges.
Badges and challenges are some of the main reasons I stick with fitbit instead of changing to Apple. I have done weekly challenges for years! This is not acceptable, Fitbit.
It really makes me mad how the fitbit corporation shows how little they care for their customers health in doing this. The ENTIRE point of fitbit for a decent amount of people is positive reinforcement to hit their goals. Being overweight is a major drag on many peoples self esteem, and these challenges and groups literally help save and extend peoples lives. Some people might in some ways only push those extra steps to hit that goal for that little badge. Without it, I worry some of them may just shrug their shoulders, give up and go back to old habits.
I really hope fitbit/google rescinds this terrible decisions and thinks about the lives and health of their paying customers here. Or else they can fk right off.
I received your email today regarding the changes to Fitbit features. If, as the email implies, the challenge features are being eliminated, I will no longer be sporting a Fitbit on my wrist. You will have lost another user to Apple.
Please don’t get rid of the feature that makes Fitbit different from other trackers! You’ve built a community, don’t throw that away - it’s fitbits secret sauce.
