Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

DONT GET RID OF ONE OF YOUR BEST FEATURES

Absolutely do not do this Fitbit! I can only see this as a way to destroy your business which in the main has attracted and maintained it’s customer base on the strength of the community and challenges. I’ve participated in challenges every week for years, got fit with them, recovered from injury and raised significant sums for charity using challenges.

I can only assume you want to kill off the brand in an attempt to force us all to the new Google watch, which as an iPhone user is not an option and I certainly won’t be changing to an Android handset. At least make it cross platform.

As ever, the big corporate boys have no customer loyalty, sadly it looks like my long relationship with Fitbit is over.

Please, please don’t rid of the challenges. What’s the point of the fitbit without them? I’ll just go buy and ole tracker.

FitBit Challenges with family members have been an important way to stay connected and to encourage one another to stay healthy during hard times. We have all continued to upgrade and replace FitBit devices to continue to challenge each other.

Without challenges, I will not be buying another Fitbit and am rethinking my relationship with all things Google.

In 6/7 years I’ve had a few friends switch to an Apple Watch when their old Fitbits failed.  I remained just for the challenges.  I just bought my second Versa.  The last one was with me for about 5 years.  Without challenges I may as well switch to Apple or some other device.

Fitbit has been such a game changer in my life, its encouraged me to start going to the gym and become more confident with my health and fitness overall improving my mental health and changes to my body.  I've made so many friends from the UK and America and look forward to doing the weekly challenges with them, whilst we chat daily life and encourage each other to become better versions of ourselves.  The motivation is unreal, we all root for each other and push each other, I love my little Fitfam I have, so why get rid of the challenges? It makes no sense at all!? Fitbit is one of the top apps for health and lifestyle, keeping track of everything not just steps.  Tracking sleep, heart rate, your mood, food, water, periods and even telling you when your body needs a rest it's just amazing.  Along with all this you get trophies when you achieve certain goals which you can share with others and they can comment, also by going on your profile they can see how active you are which is also good when accepting friends as you can see if they are as fitness inspired as you.

Please reconsider your sudden drastic actions as this will effect so many people and not in a good way.

Very disappointed by this, my entire family use this feature and its the primary reason I log onto fitbit.  The bingo, which is a premium feature is one of the main reasons I resubscribe to premium.

Absolutely agree. I was bought another fitness watch at Christmas but the lack of challenges kept me using Fitbit. With that feature taken away there’s much less reason to stick with them any longer. Crazy move which makes no sense!!

Please don’t get rid of challenges, they are the only reason me and my family have continued to purchase your devices (I’m on my third Fitbit). If we don’t have the community and the competition with one another what’s the point in using your product? This makes me so upset.

Also, your email communication was extremely poor, it doesn’t sound like you care about your users. fix this please!!!

I have had a fitbit since 2009. Since the very beginning. The challenges and badges are the reason I have always stayed with this watch, the challenges and motivation that comes with this has gotten me through some very difficult times. I am devastated that this is being taken away.. people are angry and upset. If this change happens,  after 14 years of being a loyal fitbit user, I will never use fitbit again.  The challenges are the reason why we move! Come on Fitbit! Do not remove challenges!

I would very much like you to keep the challenges. My friends and I use them for inspiration and motivation. TY

Challenges and being able to cheer on fellow competitors is the whole essence of Fitbit. Make the challenges available to 25 people instead of 10 but still keep the cheering on and being able to comment to people for motivation. Hate the idea of hundreds of peoples steps on a leaderboard with no cheering and comments. Takes away the whole idea of what Fitbit is. Love the world wide aspect of Fitbit as well.

I’ve been with FitBit for over a decade. I’ve loved the product but lately have been tired of constantly replacing it. The only reason I bought a new one in January was because of the challenges and adventures with my friends and family. If they go when this FitBit breaks, I’m gone. I’ll also not be renewing my Premium status this summer. I’m so disappointed.

The most stupid idea of Google is to remove challenges from the Fitbit app.

You should enhance the app and not demolish it.

I think it is not stupid if the plan is destroy Fitbit.  Which seems to be the plan. Which is too bad, because I love my Fitbit. But there’s not point to continue, since the reason I love my Fitbit is because of my challenges with my brother.

Challenges are the only reason I’m still using Fitbit instead of an Apple Watch. I’ve been in a Workweek Hustle with family and friends who are geographically separated and it’s been so motivating.

End challenges, and you will see your user base dwindle.

I feel like Google is deliberately doing this in hopes that fitbit users would switch over to a Google watch  but instead of that happening users are going to switch to a competitor of Google it's like Google bought fitbit to destroy the competition with the Google watch.  I won't purchase another fitbit  or a Google watch.

Keep the challenges feature! This has been the only reason to stay with Fitbit over an Apple Watch!! I just upgraded my Fitbit in the Fall and had I known I would have gone with an Apple Watch. Seriously the ONLY reason I have stuck with Fitbit is the friendships I have made and the challenges!!!

My premium subscription ends in May and I am definitely not going to renew it.  Don't want to end up using Google fit at all  since I have an Android phone  I have looked at it several times  Don't like it. Replacement device will be a Samsung watch

If Google does away with challenges, this user (since 2013) is gone for good.  Without the social aspect that challenges represents, this isn't any better than an old style pedometer.  Don't get rid of challenges!

What are you replacing challenges with. This is the difference of why I have chosen fitbit. if this capability is no longer there, why would I not choose garmin or apple watch?

After almost 9 years of FitBit, the only reason I haven't switched to an Apple Watch is because of the challenges. It was competing with my community of friends that kept me with FitBit. What is the point anymore? Hello Apple Watch!
