Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.
Challenges are THE reason I did not stray to another watch. I absolutely LOVE challenging my friends and coworkers... I feel like this would be SUCH a bad move.
Don’t remove the challenges and adventures feature on Fitbit. That’s why people are here and you get so many users. You’re going to lose a lot of faithful people that I’ve put up with all the glitches over the years. I don’t know why you’re doing this to us Google but it’s About the worst decision you could ever make for this app.
I never comment on a public forum, but will do so tonight. I think it's a very bad idea to discontinue the challenges. I have been a Fitbit user since 2016 and four Fitbits later. The challenges have kept friends and family connected and motivated. Also the challenges have allowed some of us to form virtual friendships with folks from around the world. I have been in the same Fitbit group with a great bunch of people for the last 6 years. Every week for 6 years we are all in the weekly challenge. This week is the last one sadly. Some of us have found other ways to stay fit and continue our group outside of Fitbit. This is a bad move Fitbit. You are about to lose a lot of loyal people. I joined another fitness app this morning and there were tons of people coming from Fitbit to that platform.
I understand that changes need to be made for security (no more open groups), but I think the "no more challenges" was a very bad decision. If something is not put in place, I'll be buying an Apple watch.
Please consider keeping the challenges. They are the only reason I stay with fitbit over an Apple watch. I have all Apple products and this was the one area I had my foot down in. I regret getting my most recent charge HR now. This is also the only reason anyone would ever pay for premium.
Yes why remove something that is so popular? You are going to be deserted by so many users. I also do weekly challenges on my Garmin account. A more popular watch anyway. Fitbit is dead to me now.
Really disappointed to hear that the challenges and trophies are going, they were the reason I bought Fitbit all those years ago, I felt like I achieved something. Hope they change their minds.
I have loved my Fitbit, but really want challenges. It had help me un keeping my son active. So do I understand correctly that Garmin has these? I will be sad to leave Fitbit but will check garmin out.
Like others here, challenges are the only reason I bought a fitbit - I have immediately cancelled subscription and am moving to the Stridekick app and will never buy a fitbit again! Apple or Garmin for me the next time my fitbit breaks (which is often)!
It's tough to believe they're still going ahead with this disaster of a move. If they have something better in development, tell us what it is. Otherwise, they're only disenchanting and alienating their base of users.
I m so disappointed that we are losing challenges! My family and I play bingo every week! It really motivates all of us! Game-ifying working out and exercising makes it easier to obtain goals!! Please reconsider taking away this feature!
If FitBit has plans to replace their challenges under another name then tell us! Getting rid of challenges with no backup solution is unethical given that that’s the whole reason people buy fitbits in the first place! I just bought a new one based on the assumption I’d have access to challenges with my friends.
The only reason I bought a fitbit is for the challenges bc they help me stay active. If challenges go away I have no reason to keep my fitbit. Bad choice by fitbit leadership. Another one bites the dust.
