Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.
I don't like Stridekick - 3 days after an event ends to sync the data??? Apple watch or Samsung next I think. FB clearly isn't listening - what a way to kill your client-base - and totally unnecessary too.
I don't mind Stridekick but the only problem is I'm just not motivated to check it like I used to do with Fitbit. I would check in frequently throughout the day. I don't find myself doing that with stridekick.
Worse than Fitbit taking away the challenges is their silence surrounding all of our cries to bring them back. They say nothing. Their silence speaks volumes. Infuriating. Can not wait till my "premium" (premium my **ahem**) subscription expires so that I can shop Fitbit's competitors.
I am not a fan of Stridekick either and will probably end up leaving the group I am in because I don't like Stridekick. I have switched over to a Samsung watch and in order to do challenges on stridekick since Samsung health isn't currently available to sync with stridekick I am logging activity once a day but you have to request it to be added to your account and if they think you are cheating they will remove the option from your stridekick account .
@SunsetRunner - funnily enough, exactly what I’ve been looking at. Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 looks an affordable decent alternative. I’ve been a Fitbit customer since 2017 - preordered and proud owner of a Sense 2 - if they can’t be bothered to invest in us, why should we invest in them?
Was just about to say this! I hardly have motivation to move now since we aren't in a challenge to get the most steps. Seriously considering a different smartwatch just for the challenges with friends.
@Tobiash, I voted! I'm thinking I'll switch to a Garmin when my Sense dies. It is the first generation Sense and I LOVE it but I won't support a company that doesn't care for me. I just can't afford to upgrade to anything while I have a working watch. Stridekick is pretty glitchy and frustrating when one is trying to communicate with other members and the app goes catatonic. Fitbit just asked me if I wanted to do a survey when I'm done here. That should be fun! I'm sure it's very generic questions!
