Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

Please don't get rid of the challenges and Adventures. I use these features every single day. This is why I purchase my premium membership. I called the 1-800 number to find out what they're going to be replacing them with the representative said he has no idea they have no plan in place for what they going to replace the challenges and Adventures. This is very disappointing fitbit.

This could be the end of Fitbit

Gamification is the only reason I keep my Fitbit (on my right wrist, on the left, my Apple watch is already in place). Fitbit, how can you misjudge your loyal users so much in what they want,

Was sad to hear this.  Currently in 2 separate challenges (weekdays and weekend). Mostly group with friends and family who live out of state.  Friendly competition is a great motivator. If anything I would like to see them allow more than 10 people per challenge.

If I'm slacking off one day I'll get a text from someone asking "what's going on?  Get a move on!".  I just talked 2 friends into purchasing the fitbit so they could join our group.  Will be letting them know to return them as they are still in the return window time frame.  Wish I was able to return mine.

So long fitbit.  Will be looking into the Apple watch which I hear has challenges.

I have owned a Fitbit since February 2015. I really appreciated the challenges, adventures and community groups. These were the feathers that caused me to purchase Fitbit over any other fitness tracker. I enjoyed these features so much that I bought Fitbits for family and friends as gifts. I encouraged others to buy Fitbits for these same features. I connected with great people who inspired me to keep up their fitness goals as I did the same for them . It would really be a great shame for you to remove the very features that caused many people to chose Fitbit...these same people (myself included) will move on from Fitbit. Please listen to your customer base.

I use a fitbit device for step counts and challenges, as well as the mapping features. Been a loyal member since 2013. My fitbit friends are both Apple and Google users but we have fitbit in common. I already have an Apple watch and have the steps turned off there. Nothing on this planet is going to make me want your Google watch. If you neuter the fitbit app I'll simply toss my fitbit, and me and my crew will find another app to ties us together.

Thanks, btw for instructions on that email on how to delete my account. Obviously we can delete our account and that was extremely condescending.

Keep the challenges, in fact you should be doing some improvements and adding more games and challenges.  For me what’s the point of having a Fitbit if I’m not challenging myself?

I've just heard about Fitbit  stopping challenges and adventures on Fitbit! 😳
What are you doing Fitbit?!!!😤🤯😡

I'll be honest, I'm pretty devastated! 🙇🏻‍:female_sign:😭
My whole reason for subscribing to Fitbit Premium was so I could join the challenges & adventures, & it's really helped me!

I enjoy the challenges, Fitbit bingo,& the adventures,& I enjoy meeting like-minded people in challenges when invited by other Fitbit friends,& it makes exercise enjoyable, which doesn't come naturally to some people... like myself!😏

The challenges & the Fitbit bingo makes it so much more fun exercising, & keeps me motivated to push myself that little bit extra.

I’ve just found out from friends posts about challenges, bingo & adventures being stopped, I’m not sure if I've been emailed,  (not checked my mail today tbh 🫣) & there's so very many people saying that they'll be cancelling their Premium subscription & I feel the exact same, I didn't join Fitbit Premium for the videos of exercise or the many other extras you may offer on Premium, it was solely for the challenges!

So I'm really not happy about this change, & I think this could be the opinion of many others on Fitbit! 😤

Seriously consider keeping the challenge features. I’ve been eligible for an Apple Watch for a long time. I stick with FitBit because of the challenges and have a premium subscription because of the challenges as well.

Removing challenges really don't make sense.    I see no reason to own a Fitbit anymore without the challenge feature.

I thought the point of this thing was to keep you motivated for a healthier lifestyle.     Well guess it's time to switch to apple watch I guess.

To add my voice to the hundreds of other comments, I've seen...this is a very sad decision for Fitbit to make.  I almost always have a bingo going with three of my children.  It's the main reason I pay for premium and the only reason I keep purchasing Fitbits when there are other, better fitness trackers out there.  I will not be renewing my premium membership nor will I be replacing my Fitbit with another one.  I've had Fitbits for years and I guess I'll probably switch to Garmin since I'm an Android user.

Reading about the cancellation of challenges was so disappointing to me. Like all of the other comments, that’s what has kept me in the Fitbit ecosystem. I challenge with my mom every day. She’s in her mid 70s and lives in another state. It’s fun to challenge with her but it’s also been a way for me to make sure she’s ok every day. I know her walking habits and can check in when things seem off. I just bought her a new Fitbit last month when hers died so we could keep challenging. My versa is getting old, I’ll likely move to Garmin when my versa dies if there aren’t Fitbit challenges. This actually made me really sad.

I have a free trial of Premium with my new device and I was really enjoying the challenges and community; my friends and I do a different challenge every single week and it's extremely motivating! This is a real shame. I won't be paying for Premium and I will absolutely not buy a Pixel or whatever device Google is hoping we do once they strip Fitbit of its core features, I'll just use my Apple Watch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Please do Not get rid of the Challenges features this is why we have and recommended Fitbit to friends because the challenges challenge us to keep motivated with friends and family otherwise you lose motivation and don’t try each week in fact why not add more challenges and be able to add more friends to each challenge instead of removing them? Very sad and disappointed if this goes ahead as I have been with Fitbit a long time and are a premium user for the challenges bingo, weekly, weekend adventure etc

Stop taking away the things that make Fitbit stand out from the others. I used my Fitbit for years, my husband bought me an Apple Watch, I got so tired of having to use seven different apps to do with this one app does, so I came back. Now you keep taking away the things that made me come back. Stop it! Leave the challenges, I don’t care about the trophies.

Very disappointed to hear Fitbits announcement on removing challenges. It’s the only reason myself, my son and other family members have fitbits. We’re very competitive and love to challenge each other to weekly challenges. It keeps us motivated. We won’t be replacing our watches with fitbits if this decision doesn’t change. It’s also the only reason I recommend this watch over others

I have an Apple Watch, but still buy and wear a Fitbit because of the challenges, & the friends I’ve made. I love the challenges so much, that I’m willing to walk around with two trackers on my wrists. Take that away, & I’m gone.

FULLY agree with this. Terrible idea! Do challenges with my granddaughter who has #CysticFibrosis & need lots of exercise. Will have to switch to another make of fitness band

The Fitbit app is unique, it is more fitness and competition oriented than any of the others. When I had my Apple Watch, I had to have seven apps to do with this one app does. Now, do you want to keep taking away all of the things that make the Fitbit app, unique and appealing. With the challenges alone! Groups are the only way we get to know each other, and find people to do challenges with. And, I’m not entirely sure anyone cares about the trophies.

I love the challenges! The whole family does this and it is fun, connecting, and super motivational. Half the time I get more steps simply because of those notifications telling me that I'm close to catching or beating someone else, or that they are catching up to me! It's way less fun without the challenges.

Challenges are the only reason I and other family members went with Fitbit as our watch. If this feature is removed I’ll be looking into different watches, as will other people I know. Please reconsider FitBit/Google

Removing such a beloved set of features is tone deaf, bad business, and so silly it is almost an Onion story. This is features kept 3 Fitbit Premium subscriptions alive in my family alone just for the challenges.  And 5 people use a Fitbit instead of any other device to participate in challenges. This will cost Fitbit quite a bit of money in subscription and tracker sales.  Without this, Fitbit is a poor competitor to Samsung, Apple, and Garmin.

My whole family, including parents in their 80s, takes part on weekly challenges. It’s such a wonderful way to stay connected and healthy. What a poor decision.

Breathtakingly shortsighted decision on challenges. I will seriously consider whether I stick to Fitbit when I next upgrade, it’s the one feature I genuinely always look forward to using
