Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

Yeah...the challenges have disappeared. How does a fitness ap go against its own interests like that? Taking away functionality from a product like this is incredibly stupid. Maybe I'll find my old manual step counter. Or just use my phone. What will these idiots remove next?

I'm using Stridekick.  Its not the same, but it does also work with Apple Watch, which is likely my next fitness tracker anyhow now.

Yes it is good replacement and sometimes friends use fitbit or apple and this app will sync both.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

This is my last FitBit unless the weather feature is added to my Charge 5.  My Charge 3 had it; the Charge 5 was not an upgrade. I like the heart monitor feature; it is an upgrade.  I needed to be able to decide on removing the weather feature- I would not have purchased the Charge 5 if I had known it wasn't included. I used it a lot!!  I was sure it was a mistake-- not!  Removing challenges sounds like it was also a poor decision.  It sounds like there is a fair amount of user unhappiness when there used to be lots of appreciation.  😞

I  am deeply saddened, as I can tell many of us are, that Fitbit did not see fit (sorry couldn't help myself) to reconsider. Put me on the list of formerly loyal customers who will go out of our way to make sure Fitbit never receives another cent from us.

Bring back the workweek hustle and related challenges- the only reason our entire family has a Fitbit is for our community based fitspo. Without these, we will leave Fitbit for Apple watches. Why remove the one feature that sets Fitbit apart from competition?!

I havé story , in 2019 my body stopped working , I have Ankylosing spondylitis , I didn’t walk for 4 months , I went to physiotherapy every two weeks  till I could get out of bed on my own.  I received a Fitbit as a gift to inspire me to keep going , at first I ignored it then the pandemic hit , and I started to walk , I walk everyday without fail.  I started the work week hustle with friends and family and I had one with excoworkers. Now that you took this away , the groups aren’t there to Inspire and challenge one another. I won’t buy premium because it gives me nothing but another bill, your watches are expensive enough .. bring them back it was a non thinker who thought to get rid of them I. The first place.

So I was looking to get a new Fitbit , but now I’m leaning more towards the Apple Watch , anyone know if apple has group challenges?

So since there is no longer challenges to use as motivation, I see no reason to keep my fitbit.  When it dies, I'll find a different tracker that doesn't cost as much and is better.  I'm pretty sure the Apple watch or Samsung watch are far superior

Please bring back the challenges indeed! It’s the only thing that motivates me to move and push myself for more. I’ve been using Fitbit and had been buying more than 4 Fitbit variety kinds of products. It’s also more motivating when the group of people around the world can work togeher

Totally agree!!! Many of my friends had left Fitbit. I stayed and encouraged my friends to get Fitbit because of the challenges that we can do together. I’ve been using Fitbit for about 10 years. I even purchased the premium membership because of the Get Fit Bingo.

Now, you get rid of the challenges. I need to cancel my premium membership, and join my other friends to do challenges with them at their nonfitbit media

I already canceled my renewal. I literally only paid for the challenges. I will no longer be subscribing, and will switch to an Apple Watch when my subscription expires.

Why get rid of the main thing that brought people together? Either you bring it back or you risk loosing many of the people who enjoy doing these challenges together. We have about 15 in my group that come and go for challenges and we are all frustrated with it disappearing. Now multiply that by the whole community.

My birthday is coming up and when my husband asked what I wanted I said a new Fitbit , now I may get an  iwatch

I did find a post that shows you can make a “group” just know that you have to have a photo for the group to save. You make it and then add people. I don’t know if it has worked yet though

Very disappointed Fitbit has discontinued the challenges.  It was what kept us motivated and why we bought Fitbit products.   I have been a member since 2013   Please bring challenges back.

I totally agree that Challenges should not be removed. I have participated with the Workweek Hustle for 3 years with a group of people from all over the country. It got us through Covid and more. I am heartbroken we can't keep moving together.

Our group is looking into Apple Watches after taking away the challenges. I’m going to look into a refund  as this was one of the selling features.

If you are not going to be using adventures and open group, software, allow Fitbit users access through third-party vendors.

Fitbit could very literally not care about your request and the scale of feeling being ignored shows that. Premium cancelled.

Don't take away our work week hussle and weekend warrior and other friend challenges. That was the best part of wearing fitbit. This is the worst decision EVER. Put it back and stop screwing everything up.

I think Google is messing with Samsung's Health app... it's unavailable . Luckily, if you use the free Fitbit app, you can use your smartphone as a pedometer, and then sync Stridekick to that! Some have said Stridekick is not as good an interface, but I like it. I will keep tracking my weight and cycles on Fitbit but compete on Stridekick. CatMama9

There has been a lot of negativity about Fitbit and their recent changes and I would like to defend Fitbit on a couple points.  1) My Fitbit still gives me the accurate time and doubles up as a watch, and 2) Its still an excellent Pedometer with quality that tops what I have gotten out of Lucky Charms boxes in the past.

I woke up and my challenge was gone. We were in the middle of it.  Luckily one of my fellow walkers found Slidekick.  It works with any tracker so now we don’t all have to have a Fitbit. The challenges were the main reason I had stayed with Fitbit for so long as well as my fellow walkers.  It’s sad it’s no longer available but there are other options and trackers which we plan to check out.

I like to see challenge back to Fitbit app. I am not happy that challenges remove from Fitbit app. People enjoy the Challenge and now people are upset. I am enjoying the Fitbit updates every month. Please bring back challenge that people enjoy the fun. When you move challenge on March 27,2023 people download stride kick app that they have challenge.

Taking away friendly challenges defeats the purpose for motivating each other. It was a great way to keep us inspired and accountable.
