I really miss having find my phone, I had it on Versa 2 and now have charge 5, it has very few apps! I’d like find my phone and stair count and weather app

Please add a "Find my Phone" app update on the Fitbit Charge 5. I am disappointed it isn't standard on all new Fitbit. Thank you.

The moderator/corporate comments can't possibly be more disingenuous. They
don't seem to have any intention of activating an already coded function.
The function already exists, you can access it during the setup period, but
not after. It would honestly be better if they just acknowledged they have
no intention of adding Find My Phone feature. But of course, there's more
money in lying.

I've noticed there are quite a few different threads with this same suggestion meaning this issue is more popular than it appears by looking at one thread. I hope Fitbit takes into consideration that there are several threads and decide to update the device accordingly. There's no reason why this feature would not be added. Whether people have time to come onto this Fitbit forum and search for an issue to add a vote to or not, I'm sure this feature is something EVERYONE would appreciate and use. I'm so disappointed with this that I'm considering just switching to a new company entirely, like many others have said.

Hi, it'd be great if you can add the "Find my phone" feature in Charge 5. Charge 5 shows up in the list of compatible devices for Find My Phone, but I'm unable to install it. I hope it comes to Charge 5 in the next firmware update.

I just upgraded from Inspire 2.  If that little thing can have Find My Phone then surely the more robust Charge 5 can have it, too.  Right?

Please advise it that omission is simply an oversight (oops), or if there is an inherent reason Charge 5 can't Find My Phone.

Zicinparis...how do you do a reverse notification?  Will this work on a Charge 2?

After reading all the comments, I think changing from Fitbit to an Apple watch might be my better option.

I absolutely need the find my phone option.

I'm always losing my phone around the house, and often have to get to a computer to make my phone ring so that I can find it. Can you make an app for my fitbit (charge 5) that makes my phone ring (or just make a sound) so that I can find it?

Please add the find my phone feature.

Very disappointed in charge 5 expected better than my huawei Pro 4 but it feels like I've down graded

It’s advertised that the find my phone app is compatible on charge 5 but then says not available on this device and Spotify control is available on older model? I don’t get how this watch is such a massive step backwards.

I'm really disappointed that this device does not have this feature, as well as many others that most other watches and trackers have at this price point. I'm probably returning it.

The official Fitbit gallery explicitly states that the Find My Phone app is "available for" eight devices, including the Charge 5. Why is Fitbit falsely advertising a feature they don't actually support?? https://gallery.fitbit.com/details/9ccccaca-d7c8-4a41-8e4e-875a4924f214

I know! It's so frustrating! It advertises that it works for the Luxe,
too, but after going back and forth with support they said, oops that's
a mistake, it's not really supported. 😞

Just upgraded from a Versa to Charge 5 - so incredibly disappointed to realise it doesn't have a Find My Phone app! I used this feature often on my Versa - I had expected it would be a standard feature on any new Fitbit release. Can you please confirm if there are any plans to add this app to the Charge 5 and expected timing?

I'd like to get a new fitbit and was hoping to get the Charge 5 but it does not have the ability to ping my phone. I guess I'll keep my Versa for a while longer and wait for this feature to come out or look for other options. I use this feature on my Versa all the time and it is such a basic feature for a smart watch, I cant believe it is not included. Based on these comments, I'm not alone.

This is a key feature, with it missing from my charge 5 I'm considering return it!

Please at least consider adding the find phone to the Charge 5, I purchased 2 of these trackers and the recipients don’t understand why my old Versa 2 has this feature and theirs don’t.

This was a feature on my last fitbit, why isn't it on this newer one? Seems like a lot of features are missing this watch.

Please add this feature, this is a glaring omission, considering even cheap Chinese trackers have this feature, it is unacceptable this is missing here

I can add this feature myself, is there a possibility to do that? Any guide?
