Horizontal Inspire series clock faces

I just had to update my Fitbit because the display got super glitchy.  I updated to the Inspire HR from the Alta HR.  I was very disappointed to see I can no longer have a "sideways" clock face on my device. I have grown used to this in the past few years wearing my Alta, and am unclear why this would no longer be supported.  Please update to include this option!

Some users have said the Charge is more like the Alta. It isn't. It has a
vertical clock face and a wider band. This band may be ok for men or
larger women, but it is too wide for me. I still hope that Fitbit will
respond to the request and produce a Fitbit with the HR feature and similar
to the horizontal faced Alta. At this point I am not going to replace my
Fitbit with another Fitbit product.

YES!  the font is way too tiny.   Please make a horizontal option like the Alta!!!

I’ve just changed my Alta which died to an Inspire.  So disappointed I can’t change the face to horizontal.  Also everything is too small.  So many requests surely it can’t be too difficult.  Please listen to people.

I loved the horizontal clock feature on the Alta. Unfortunately I dislike the vertical clock and will probably return the inspire2.  I’m very disappointed that there are animal clocks but no basic horizontal clock.

PLEASE make a horizontal watch faces similar to alta/ Alta HR options. I would love to update to new fitbit inspire 2 but I cannot read the tiny numbers.

Like all comments here really disappointed there is no horizontal time display option on the inspire hr. Message to Fitbit code developers ADD  THIS FEATURE ASAP, it can’t be at all difficult and clearly would make a lot of your customers very happy.

Just got an Inspire 2. and the vertical face is reallly hard to use. I have to contort my arm to actually look at the time. Please, please, give us horizontal clock faces. I can't even fathom why someone thought vertical was better. In what places do you read time with the hours stacked on top of the minutes?

Disappointing to see that almost 2 years after this request thread was created Fitbit still haven’t addressed the issue. There are 15 vertical clock faces but not a single horizontal one.

I cannot believe this was suggested 2 years ago and they still haven't made the change.  I am returning the inspire because I cannot stand the way the face looks.

I, too, would like to see a horizontal display option on the Fitbit Inspire.  For anyone over 40, this is an essential requirement due to eyesight issues.  I literally can not read anything on the Inspire aside from the clock without putting on reading glasses.  This makes my Fitbit pretty useless.  I had to replace my Fitbit Alta HR and didn't know a horizontal screen wasn't an option on the Inspire.  Wish I had known because I wouldn't have bought this!  Does Fitbit listen to feedback from users?  Just wondering since people first started raising this issue 2.5 years ago.

I have officially left fit bit community. I stopped using my Inspire tracker or want to buy a new model. What the use of wearing a watch if you can’t see the time? No horizontal display and it’s way too dim!! Good bye!

I mean I don’t plan on buying a new tracker!

No, fitbit does not care to reply to this concern or make any sort of
effort to appease the issue that many consumers are upset about

Notifications are far more readable with horizontal view.  Inspire 3 is great, but I'd still go back to the HR Alta if it had not died.  Seems like people have asked for this in older versions of inspire, but this feature was never picked.  With the improved screen, I hope this option is more viable.

Will also note that every time you have to scroll, including a notification, your hands are figuratively tied compared to a quick tap.

If you're running, walking, biking or even sitting in a meeting, it's more intrusive and distracting.  Would rather see more of the message upfront to decide whether it's even worth the interruption to scroll.  The ticker tape feature was also great, but only makes sense with horizontal view.

Just bought the Inspire 3 and am disappointed that there is no Horizontal clock face. Don't see how hard it is to add since the Alta HR had it.  The programing is available.

Please consider adding a simple horizontal clock face.

No kidding. I stopped using Fit Bit a year ago because of this. They don’t care.

  1. Please take the easy coding step of making a horizontal display option on Inspire 3. After years of using Alta HR I bought Inspire 3.  During these years my eyes have only gotten worse but Fitbit is making it harder/impossible for me to see the display without putting on my glasses--very discouraging.

Please make an option to have fitbit data like steps display in a larger font. Perhaps sideways like the Alta HR
