Improve GPS Tracking on Google Pixel Watch

First time mom here, just trying to recover post partum while taking care of my baby. I go on the same walking path everyday, more than once per day. However, now that I'm pushing a stroller, my steps don't count, and the GPS tracking that once said my walk is 1.59 miles now claims it's only 0.55 miles for the same exact route.
