Improve GPS performance on Charge 6

The Charge 6 GPS is not as accurate as the GPS on my Charge 4.
When I walk a route on my Charge 6, and then look at the route map online after, there are 'branches' off my actual route map which I never covered.
The Charge 4 GPS never gave me this problem. When I looked at the map afterwards, online, the map was spot on with my actual route.
