Increase Font Size on Charge 4 for different stats

I'd love to be able to change the clock face on Charge 4 when I run.  Right now, the pace is the largest number and I don't care about that.  I'm 62 and the fact that I'm still running is great!  I run by time and I'd love to make that the largest number on the clock face.  Then maybe add my heart rate.  Just a thought.

Come on Fitbit, give us the option of BIGGER FONTS for the screens with heart rate, steps, floors, active zone minutes, etc.

I need reading glasses (cheaters) to read small type. I wish your variety of Clock Faces would include ones with options for larger type. For example, on face HR Stat reduce the font size of the time and substantially increase the font size for heart rate. Same thought on face Steps Date. I would appreciate being able to see stats while walking

Essential. I don’t want to stop whatever I’m doing, find my specs, just to look at the screen. Most people over the age of 45 need reading glasses, and there are many other reasons to have to use them.

Easy solution - one stat at a time on the screen, big and bright. Simple, Mr Fitbit.

I totally agree. An Accessibility feature would allow for this, I'd
imagine. It really is hard to see the screen even with reading glasses on,
in full sunlight.

Plus, if you don't have bifocal sunglasses, who runs with their reading
glasses? They would fall out of your pocket.

I just bought a charge 4 and just looked up how to increase font size. Totally rediculous you dont listen to your customers many requests over the years asking foir an option that is more legible to those of us who need reading glasses but only use them to read not look at our watches or smart phones or when we are excercising! Totaly dissatisfied. One stat per screen swipe???

I would like to see a clock face with larger numbers for steps, like the HR STAT clock face. Perhaps even a slightly smaller icon and larger numbers

Hi, I would like the "Stat" screens on the Charge 4 to be adjustable in font size. Atlernatively, the option to have just one individual stat instead of 2 per intermediate screen would be great too.

Hi @SunsetRunner, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to customize font size of Charge 4. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request.  A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.

As many others have already suggested, please allow for an increase in font size on the Charge 4.  I could read the texts scrolling across my wrist on my Charge 2 perfectly fine.  I just upgraded and can't read the texts at all nor can I see who is calling me.  I'm very disappointed as I used throughout the day - every day.

Thanks @YojanaFitbit , but "soon" for a feature that has been requested by aging users for very long is not enough.  I am quiting FitBit.

My Fitbit is half way to the bin.

The ability to change font size for the tracker seems like a big win and a common complaint. Please count my vote.

My husband is visually challenged, e.g. with glasses, corrected to 20/70 in the better eye.  Not soon - but asap, please offer enlarged font for the Charge 4.  He is eying my Charge 2 with envy.  If you have it on a previous version, your IT should easily be able to provide one stat per screen in larger font on this new version.

I didnt get an apple watch since my failing close vision made it frustrating to navigate. I have a small wrist so was hoping the new charge 4 would be a good one for easy to see heart rate. Now I need readers to use the peloton if I want to see my heart rate. Back to the drawing board for a small watch that has people in their 40’s in mind. Bummer. I liked fitbit when my eyes were working. P.S. get som developers in their 40’s so you can plan for and understand what the needs are for most of the population using your product.

Completely RIDICULOUS that we have “vote” in a forum to get a feature that exists in other products and shouldn’t be that big of a deal.  Put each stat on its own screen, double the size and let longer text scroll.  Just like other Fitbit models (and, other trackers).  Waiting for people to figure out the arcane Fitbit community posting rigamarole to then see if someone votes “enough” to create a basic feature is, again, ridiculous.

I’ve had several Fitbits - even bough an “extra” Alta HR because that is the one device that you can actually read text msgs or calendar reminders.  Love them.  Love the form function Of the device and the wearability. Love the sleep feature.  Love the premium feature.  Just let me be able to EASILY read the information at a glance on your newest devices.  That’s all.  It’s not even new functionality.  And, the screen is certainly big enough.  Why is this hard?

Should have some options as to what matters to the individual, I really only care about having a large font heart beat, others may want other as a primary focus. I certainly don't care about the time.

Hi Fitbit

I too would like a larger font - as I suspect would anyone who needs reading glasses.

I love the data that you can see on my computer.

I wanted a watch that I could see the data on too.

I can't believe the heart rate font is smaller than on my last fitbit - when the watch face is so much larger.

Instead of waiting for enough customers who want the larger font to implement this idea - please instead consider all those people who would purchase (and keep) a watch where the information is visible whilst out walking / running etc - without having to stop and put on reading glasses!

I loved my last fitbit.

I don't like this one - on first day of use - and I suspect it is going back to the shop - to be bought by anyone who doesn't need reading glasses (ie probably not anyone over the age of 50 - the part of the population that has suposedly has quite a bit of disposable capital )

Best wishes

Agree 100%. I hate the new format. New faces none if which help. I hate wearing readers while working out. Like to check my heart rate. Oh well... I needed readers at 45 so the gap os wider. Need to find a new watch. Like the face size. Just need to increase the font.... please!!!
