Integrate with Apple Watch

The options available for wearing your FitBit with business casual clothing is extremely limited. Please partner with Apple & allow us to use the Apple Watch to track our steps for a premium subscription. I love the APP & currently proudly wear my flex daily, but would really like the option available when the Apple Watch is released.

Yes please!  Support Apple Watch, I got an apple watch over a FitBit because I figured I could do as much with AW as FB plus have an AW.  At any rate, I see the social aspect of FB and I want to use that to track my workouts.  Would pay for the app!

If you actually read through the posts, you would see that many of us already own fitbits. I personally own 3 Fitbit devices. I would like when I wear my apple watch to have those steps accounted for in the Fitbit app and to also have them count toward my daily challenge. Not too much to ask.

I have both a FitBit Flex and an Apple Watch. I would like to be able to use both to track my steps without having to wear both all the time. I'd like to be able to switch back and forth from my watch to my fitbit.

Having found a long lost Fitbit One, I too own three Fitbits (the other lost Ones may well turn up at some point so that figure could rise). I wear a One for challenge purposes but change to a Charge when I'm at home so I don't need to tell the device I'm going to bed. I'd like to be able to just wear my watch some of the time.

Add me to the growing list that I would love the Fitbit App to directly support the Apple Watch.

If you are concerned with the financials - make this feature avaialble only to those users that have other Fitbit trackers active on their account and/or make it only available to those on a premium subscription.

I would love to continue to participate in the challenges with my friends and coworkers.  I would love to be able to swap between my Fitbit and my Apple Watch (ie: swimming, working outside,  and in the gym).

I would really like to have an Apple Watch version of the Fitbit App (ie the Fitbit App on my Apple Watch). It would just be very nice to be able to get a quick summary on my Apple Watch instead of having to pull my phone out to see my progress. Nothing complicated just a summary display, maybe Steps, Calories, Activity, Sleep.

Just to be clear, I am not asking for Fitbit and Apple Watch integration, we all know how that is going.

Integrating the Apple watch with the Fitbit application would be the best thing that can happen to the Fitbit community.  I understand that you want all app users to purchase one of your products in order to participate in the challenges, this is probably the only way you can make money and keep this company running, but think about it... We are all hooked with the Fitbit app, and many of our friend want to participate in the challenges too but are unable because they currently have apple watches.

You have an amazing product and anyone that has enjoyed the Fitbit experince will pay for the opportunity to keep participating in the Fitbit challenges.

Now more than ever, people are investing in their health and I guarantee you that no one would hesitate to pay a premium to utilize your app to be able to share with coworkers, friends and family. You guys have the opportunity to create another business within your business.

Give those that are alienated the opportunity to be part of the Fitbit community and keep doing what you intended to do when you created the Fitbit App, helping people stay motivated while having fun in order to have an active lifestyle.

I recommend you give it a try.... I bet you won't regret it.

Great pitch! We want and need Fitbit to sync with Apple Watch. I have had MANY Fitbit devices and enjoy the challenges but Apple Watch is better D suited to work and home life due to coordination with many devices and family apps. To add a great Fitbit app for Apple Watch would be fabulous even if it requires buying a Fitbit. That way I could wear Fitbit fir hikes and workouts and Apple Watch for other daily activity.

I have had a fitbit for 3  year, but got an apple watch late last year.  Fitbit is still the device that I recommend to my friends who want a step tracking device.

I really want to sync my watch steps with fitbit so I can keep challenging my friends and tracking my steps and exercise on fitbit.

Every other fitness app out there feeds from Apple Watch via Health. Come on Fitbit. Time to update your thinking and your app.

I would happily pay either a one-time fee on par with the price of one of the trackers, or a smaller monthly subscription that enables functionality to accept step data from the Apple Watch / Apple's Healthkit platform. I have often been asked why I wear both an Apple Watch and a Fitbit - mostly, it has been due to wanting to participate in the weekly challenges with friends, but I'm finding other ways to do that. I don't want to drift away from the FB platform, but they are slowly driving me away with the refusal to support new technologies.

Agree.  Looking to add an Apple Watch but wouldn't wear 2 devices at any given time.  Still would rather wear my fitbit one for soccer and other sports activities (watches aren't an option) and maybe even a fitbit wrist based tracker for sleep, but use Apple Watch during the day at work.  MobileTrack exists on the iPhone side, we would just need that kind of implementation on the watch...

Intergration with Apple Watch would be a huge bonus for all of us who don't want to wear another piece of tech on us at all times. We could compete in challenges with friends and family as well which would be awesome. I would even be willing to pay for the app if need be, maybe not as much as say a Zip but I would pay 20$ for the ability to use my Apple Watch as a tracker.

Thank you for you time.

I can understand why the manual entry of steps is no longer added to fitbit friends challenges as it allows a user the means to cheat. Just add a walk of 10,000 steps and bingo. Unfortunatly however that was the end of the syncsolver solution too.

As a long time fitbit users (since the very start) I would glady pay for an app to keep using it with my Apple Watch.

I totally agree. I love my Apple Watch but would like to have Fitbit on it. I would be willing to pay for a Fitbit Apple Watch app.

Would LOVE to be able to track steps in Fitbit app from my Apple Watch so I can compete in Fitbit challenges. Or even the ability to pull my exercise information from my iPhone. I have a Fitbit tracker but when I forget it at home I use my phone or now my watch always captures the information but I like the Fitbit community and would love the ability to compete with friends.

I would also pay for a premium integrated watch app to keep the Fitbit challenge infrastructure

Come on Fitbit let us know what you think of all this feedback in this thread

I first got a Fitbit a few years ago. I lost my Fitbit One and bought a Flex. We also got my MIL a Flex which she recently upgraded to the Blaze. Less than a year after I bought my Flex I developed a reaction to the Fitbit (the Fitbit itself, not the wristband) and had to stop wearing it. I then got an Apple Watch in June last year. I still miss the Fitbit dashboard though and would love if the Apple Watch data would be transferred. If you allow people to track steps with their iPhone why not allow them to use the Apple Watch. I doubt anyone who has an Apple Watch would replace it with a Fitbit even if you never open up the API so why limit yourselves in this way and why keep the Fitbit community smaller than it could be?!

I love fitbit!  I have had/used a fitbit for several years (millions of miles!). I now have an Apple Watch and am so sad that I can no longer participate in my challenges unless I wear my fitbit as well.  The mobile track from my phone works okay, but often doesn't update properly.  I would love to stay in the fitbit family, but I don't want to wear two devices.  Is there any way to pull the data from the apple watch into fitbit?

Thanks!

Please, please, please integrate with other tracking devices (the Apple Health Watch in particular). I love competing in these challenges with family and friends, and it's frustrating competing now but not getting accurate credit for my efforts. I can't find any other app that allows for this.

You should really have an app for the Apple Watch. Even if it was one that you paid for would be fine. You would be able to make money and expand your customer base without the cost of manufacturing
