Integrate with iOS Health

Hi there,

I'm really excited about Apple's announcement of the Health App in iOS 8 to be release this fall.  I'm looking forward to seeing a product announcement by Fitbit for a successor to the recalled Fitbit Force, and I'm really hoping to hear some exciting news about Fitbits intigration with Apple's new Health App to be released alongside iOS 8 this fall.  

This is a huge oportunity to make your devices even smarter and more integrated - Please support these APIs!  Thanks!

I think the Fitbit app is one of the best.

There's an app i use to integrate my fitbit to apple health called myfitnessSync works pretty good.

Please integrate the health app for Apple Watch. I love the Fitbit app and really miss it but I got the Apple Watch as a gift.

Got two trackers for me and my wife - i assumed it would sync with apple like every freeware app does by now?

Health is a ecosystem for me, where i keep track of all the data from lifesum etc.

Sorry to return the trackers, doesn't work for me 😕

Having integration both to and from Apple's Health platform would be great. Like many others here, I have a fit bit for quite some time but was gifted an apple watch for Christmas. I really miss the ability to compete with family and friends.

I was on vacation and forgot my Fitbit charger, the most steps I have walked and they weren't counted... would have loved if I was able sinc my Apple Health to my Fitbit.

Really !? It was 3 years and the feature is still "Under Consideration". I am using a Charge 2, and really love to have this feature in the next version of Fitbit App.

Disappointed that FitBit doesn't synch with Apple's HealthKit, like JawBone did.

Thinking about returning it as it's a big part of managing my health & overall statistics.

Got my Fitbit 2 days ago, Really surprised that Fitbit is UNABLE to sync with Apple health while a $30 tracker can! (And does WhatsApp notification too)

Wow, 4000+ upvotes, 170+ pages, 4400+ comments , and nearly 3 years later and Fitbit still hasn't integrated their app with Apple Health??  This has got to be one of the most disturbingly non-responsive failures of a tech company I've seen in a while. When your customers are overwhelming telling you what they want, what kind of fool ignores them? I guess the kind of company that took a 57% hit to their stock price in 2016...

Well said @fbidwel, that's exactly how I feel. 

Fitbit, you're about to lose yet one more long time customer who was very happy with your hardware. But I guess you don't care, since you also don't care to play well with others. 

Good job on digging your own grave, mates.

I'll download one of those sync apps and move to an Apple Watch.

They do know, they are pretty aware about the situation. They just _choose_ not to integrate with HealthKit for some stupid corporate decision, which is absolutely worse.

Like I said earlier, *excellent* job on killing yourselves, Fitbit.

I'd also like Fitbit to act less like a data hording company and one that cares about what users want. Lack of HealthKit integration is one of two huge reasons why I ditched Fitbit. I keep checking to see if they want my money, but I guess not.

I have been a Fitbit user for a few years and Apple Wach user since first released in 2015. Even as an owner and daily wearer of both devices I would still really love the Fitbit tracking information to be integrated with the iOS Health App.

We are still waiting on that topic 🙂
