I would love this. Knowing the elevation when I go hiking in the mountains is important, and I carry a hand held Garmin with me in my pack. It would be good if I didn't have to.
I think it's a great idea to have available elevation, and in fact any other variable that may be of value. I've only had a couple of different fitbit models, but so far they have a theme of limiting your choice of what shows during workouts, and separately the default view. For example on the Surge, you can't see time as well as heart-rate without having to swipe. With limited screen real estate, it's critical to have on there what is most needed at any particular time. Regarding elevation, I can see many activities that would benefit enormously from seeing elevation live. I ride an e-bike.
In Fitbit app you can't see elevation, top speed and so on. You should atleast be able too see the same statistics Wich is shown on the Fitbit versa when you save your activity.
Hi @CartelZ! Great suggestion, thanks for sharing why you'd like to see elevation on the Fitbit app. I've moved it into a similar request. Hopefully we will have support from other users since more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains.
Had a fitbit for a week now and all I find for features I'm looking for are posts from years ago that have never seen the light of day. Simple ones too, like elevation stat being added to hikes/cycling; dark theme, separate sleep goals for weekdays/weekends, etc. What do you employees actually do? I mean, other than greet people on the forums?
Hi @RedeemerBlood, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see elevation details in exercise mode. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request. A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
Please include an elevation graph along with with max elevation climb in Fitbit iOS app for biking (or running/walking). Currently the only way to see this information is on the web site. Being able to overlay two of speed, heart rate, and elevation, graphs is very helpful!!
Hi @NoKneed, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see live Elevation in exercise mode. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request. A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
