Make Heart Rate Data export in Excel/CSV format

Please add the heart rate data to the reports that can be downloaded/exported.  The ones for the activity and sleep are perfect but since I have a pacemaker I really need to have one to print out for my cardiologist showing how often I rise above the set pace.

Thank you

I also need the ability to export heart rate data - pls prioritize this request

I would very much like this feature as well!  The more data the Fitbit and the dashboard can offer the better.  Fitbit is dominating the market because of the data it provides.  Lets blow all of the competitors out of this arena.

Shocked to find I can't easily download all my data....you do say 'your data belongs to you' so please make this a reality

Can you guys please add the ability to export HR data in the data export tool?

When will this be a possibility? The data is there. This was my main reason for purchase.

I also just bought the Charge HR under the assumption I could see the data. I should have researched more before making the purchase. I have a heart-related condition as well, and could have opted for a different product had I known I was only going to get 5-minute averages, and not even be able to download the data.

If you purchased it on Amazon (or anywhere you can leave feedback) I'd suggest leaving an appropriate review so other people don't fall for this too. Maybe Fitbit will finally get the message.

Just want to throw another body behind the desire for access to raw HR data.  I was in the market for a fitness tracker and just assumed since it is 2015 and I have a Garmin device from several years ago that tracks HR (although it is a different method) that I can EXPORT the HR data from.., that this device would also allow me to look at HR data over time.

It clearly does monitor in real time.  Make this available.  I'd love to be able to graph my HR throughout the day and run some simple statistical analysis on it and then compare that to other things.  There is a lot of really cool things users could do with this data, just let us have access to it!

I too would like access!

That I cannot download my detailed heart rate data is a dealbreaker for me. I am returning my Charge HR to Amazon.

I agree. I was hoping to get a positive response from the fitbit team. I may return mine as well.

Yes, if you do a Mobile Run GPS exercise, you will get heart rate data tied to the frequency of the GPS location (irregular time series).

@JeremiahFitbit That's a bit silly to record a run on a trendmill from the Fitbit app in GPS mode, just to get access to the heart rate data when exporting it in TCX format (and meaningless static location data).

Couldn't we simply export the heart rate data of our workouts?

There are several options here:

- [OK] if no location information, inject dummy data for the location in the TCX file

- [BEST] export as HRM like some competitors do (by Polar, but the format is open)

- [SO-SO] export as CSV (easy to implement)

It's still unbelievable that after this many votes we haven't even gotten a reply from a Fitbit staff member especially when their motto is that our data is our data. Kind of hard for users to believe such a claim when the company refuses to even allow for a raw download of the collected data.

Hi there @Craig! Thank you for contributing with this request. I'm aware that this is very important data that needs to be exported to have a better record of your heart rate. I will definitely forward your request to our developers so they can take it into consideration. Hopefully we can have it available soon.

Thanks!

Recording Heart Rate is my reason for buying the Charge HR - PLEASE add it to the export list!

It would be great anyway to have access to all raw data (gyrometer, magnetometer, accelerometer). This would allow a lot of other interesting research. Unfort. at the moment fitbit cannot be used for research purposes as the data supplied are accumulated data.

I'd like to have real time heart rate data output as a feed over Bluetooth so that they can be picked up by the BoatCoach app I use to log my rowing activities on my Android 4.4.4 device.

I want to also add my voice to those asking for second by second heart rate data without the need for an active GPS signal.

I use a Concept2 rower and want to be able to track my heart rate over the sessions when I'm on the rower. It's unlikely that a GPS trace would pick anything up even if I turned it on given that I'm only moving a few feet forwards and backwards during the sessions.

If "my data is my data", then where is my data?

Not sure what you mean by needing GPS to be able to see your hwartrate by yhe second? :The two are independant of each other, if you dont want GPS choose an exercise that doent use GPS

He means that without turning on that GPS, your heart rate export is blank
(the tcx file).

And +1 for being able to use the tracker with applications like RunKeeper,
RunTastic, Endomondo to directly capture heart rate rather than having to
import into these applications the tcx from FitBit.

It would be great to make the heart rate graph more interactive specifically for when it is tracking workouts so you are more able to see your heart rate at different times during the work out.
It would be nice to be able to track heart rate to see improvements over time during workouts.

I have a weaker than normal heart and I run ofter and I would love to see if my heart rate lowers through time for the same running speed, or if my speed increases over time for the same heart rate. That would be really usefull to see displayed in a human readable way.

When I export TCX file from my exercise it contains no data at all. I know Charge HR has no GPS, but it would be great to see timestamp with corresponding heart rate at that moment in exported TCX file, later to combine it with GPX file from my bike computer, which can be done with various 3rd party apps. Or option to import GPX file to combine with existing exercise.

It appears that many people want and expected to be able to export HR data in a spreadsheet format. Is anyone at Fitbit listening?

Very disapointed with Fitbit HR. To bad my wife bought me the Charge HR before I knew that Fitbit does not support it's products.

Actually with only 59 votes, it appears that not many people want this, its the votes that count.

Im very disappointed in the many people who claim they want this but haven't voted.

Plus this request is not something that can be whipped up overnight
