Make Heart Rate Data export in Excel/CSV format

Please add the heart rate data to the reports that can be downloaded/exported.  The ones for the activity and sleep are perfect but since I have a pacemaker I really need to have one to print out for my cardiologist showing how often I rise above the set pace.

Thank you

More detailed heart rate graphs. There should be more time points on the x-axis than every 12 hours.

It would also be helpful to make the graph easier to manipulate (i.e., zoom, scan across).

In the forums, a number of users have requested the ability to download heart rate data. I too would like this. Although it is supposedly in works, I am requesting that Fitbit prioritize creating this function.

Downloadable heart rate data for Charge HR

I think you have enough requests now to release the HR data. Stop messing about and lets have 'our' data for tracking 'our' health. Ive just bought the charge HR and won't be recommending it to others until this feature is enabled. Come on guys, don't be like Apple!!!

It might, of course, be that they are too incompetent to do so. There has always been something odd bout their definition of the measure. As the least successful of firtbit operations is the sleep time measurement -= I know no one for whom it works, we may collectively have found a week point.

I agree @Keithk1234 although I still recommend Fitbit for the ease of tracking. HR is the last piece of the puzzle...

It's amazing to see how many people with the hr want this. 8 pages of people asking what the hell is going on, and that is just the people who saw this thread. Fitbit has made it clear that they don't give two **ahem**s about their actual customers and seem to be more focused on getting new colors for the fitbit instead of fixing their false advertising. Talk about having your priorities straight...

Not only 8 pages really, there are several threads on this with people
asking for proper access to their data.

Any chance we can get an update on this? It's been almost a year and the status still hasn't even made it to Under Consideration.

Personally, I won't be renewing my premium subscription until heart rate is included in the data export. I've been entering my data by hand in a spreadsheet daily for the past year - I see no reason to pay to export only a percentage of what I need.

  • I'm recovering from breast cancer, and bought the Surge HR fitness tracker for the "heart rate" feature, which has been a great help. But NOT being able to print or download the data which is the "primary" reason I purchased the devise for, is so frustrating! I have to take SCREENSHOTS of my android phone for my physical therapist, cardiologist, and primary care professionals. How embarrassing? They ALL love the general feedback the tracker is giving them (and me) in my rehab and guiding my recovery (realizing completely that it's NOT a medical device... solely an "indicator" of my progress). This devise and FITBIT are MISLEADING consumers by advertising the HR function and "download functionality", but NOT disclosing that your own HR data is NOT available to you. I feel this is not only "bait and switch", but withholds OUR own biometrics, that could be a positive and impactful influence on helping individuals on their paths to setting goals and achieving better health.

Another vote for downloading HR data. My resting HR is my measure of fitness and I want to be able to track this long term. Please add this feature!!!!

Why is it this request was first submitted nearly a year ago and we can't get any feedback from Fitbit other than it's a good addition, I'll pass it on?

Aye, now that the fullscreen expansion is possible, it's not actually very useful, because it shows (on mine at least) my heart rate measurements against a scale of 0-200, instead of the today's-low-and-high range the smaller graph shows - which means if you don't do a lot of exercise in a day, the big graph actually shows less detail than the smaller one.

I'd like to see the big graph show the same range as the smaller one, and also have fine lines every 10 (or even 5) bpm on the y axis.

The main dashboard activity panel shows the "time" when hover over the chart. This is great.

But viewing a logged activity does NOT show the time when you hover ... it only shows the hours since start of activity. I know the "time" data is available so I'm disappointed it is not availabale on the activity tracker panel. I have a heart condition (recently had atrial fibrilation) and I want use the activity log to look at my heart rate in more detail than the dashboard can show ... and the activity log does this quite well except that it does not show the "time" as you hover over points of interest and you have to guess what time it was. It is otherwise a great tool for charting and monitoring heart problems.

I also like the suggestion of having the "all day" heart rate / activity charts. For instance, the main dashboard shows the whole day heart rate (with time of day if you hover) but there is no "show detail" feature for this tile. The only option is to map an activity for the whole day but that does not show the time if you hover.

So either a "detail" view of the main dashboard tile or a "time" display on the activity panel would achieve the desired result. Or both

The on line app does not allow me to expand the resting heart rate to see daily detials or to track resting heart rate over more than the 30 day period shown.  I can see my activity for the year, my weight for the year, and I'd like to see how my resting heart rate has moved over the last year.  However, clicking on the "Resting Heart Rate" graph only provides the option to set a goal.  I can get detailed daily data on the iPhone app, but it's too small to be very useful and also doesn't expand to show the resting heart rate for the year.  Can't we get something that's useful for that data?

No heart rate data export, I'm heading right back to Best Buy, Bye Bye!

This feature is also important to me and my cardiologist. We need to keep track of my heart rate as well as my weight. Right now I have to manually input the information into a message to Doctor; that's very time consuming and inefficient.

"Your data belongs to you!" says the Export function. And it should be.

Being a heartpatient I bought the Fitbit Charge HR for measuring my heartrate, but without export possibilities this is useless for my cardiologists.
I find this very misleading, especially since it can't be that hard to implement.

Keep the new colors and focus on delevering us the whole product we bought.

I would definitely like to see this on iOS since I've been using it on the android app on my old phone. Why can't it be on both?

I've recently learned that we get graphs of our every 5-minute HR averages over a day with the regular function of the watch, and if you enable activity mode, it creates a graph of every minute HR for catching peaks. These graphs are in the app, and you can save screenshots for your records. While I was disappointed I couldn't get the minute-by-minute HR data for excel, I'm appeased with this as an alternative, and think it will meet my Cardiologist/neurologists needs just fine.

One year of requests for HR export data - shamefull for such a simple request which you advertize as available.

I would also agree. Not being able to export the RAW data for Heartbeats is severly limiting. Slightly misleading advertising. Your Data is yours! Well give me my heartbeat data.... Please.
