More Adventures races/solo (in USA and Internationally)

Can you add more adventures to list of available choices? Right now there's stuff in New York and California but nothing that represents the middle of the country. I'd like to see Grandma's Marathon from Duluth, MN added to the list of available adventures and maybe some other well known places like Mount Rushmore or the Washington Mall in D.C. or Glacier National Park. Just please add more places.

Can you guys possibly add more of the personal solo challenges like the NYC ones and the Pohono ones? I love doing them but I'm on my last one already thanks!

Hi @SunsetRunner, thanks for sharing your idea. I think that it'd be great if you can edit your request adding the specific place you're located. It will help other users to vote! Otherwise, this ideas can be merged into this one that has more votes: More Adventures (in USA and Internationally)

Keep me posted.

Would love Fitbit to create more adventures! Would love a really long one that takes a while to complete to kept the motivation going!

After years of similar requests, I feel as though we are shouting into a void!

I think we are pretty much wasting our breath. I just don’t want to hear Fitbit using this adventure and challenges feature to advertise their products anymore. It pretty much feels like this is just a gimmick to lure customers for a quick sale and it is now being overlooked and they have no intentions of developing it further. I just don’t understand why. This is what made fitbit different and better than the other fitness trackers. This is the reason why I bought it in the first place years ago. Now it is pretty much just like every other fitness tracker out there.

I just find it really odd. Surely these Adventures can’t be that expensive to set up. Yet Fitbit are prepared to ignore customers wishes to extend the feature and risk losing goodwill and brand loyalty.

For me the lack of response is more a problem now than the original inertia.

I’ve pretty much lost interest in Fitbit due to the lack of response and boredom from the same challenges

Exactly! I feel the same.
I’ve sent several messages to them regarding this. Apparently, so have you, as well as a ton of other people. Not just recently - as it’s been an on-going request for quite some time now. They responded and told me to contact a specific location.... I basically responded with “why bother, no one listens”. To which I actually received a reply

We appreciate your feedback and we see here that it's already being reviewed by our moderators.

Hmmm! Will they finally get the hint?

You know, there are many posts asking for the same thing here. In one or two posts, I saw moderators post that there is no future plans for this. That only made me more frustrated with Fitbit. Why no future plans for this? It’s just really mind boggling to me and I think Fitbit is making a huge mistake not updating this feature of theirs. Ok so, they wanna make smart watches now to keep up with the demands of what people want, Fine, work on that but they should also keep on developing what made them outstanding and different compare to others. Fitbit would be a real powermarket if they would just seriously listen to their loyal and long time customers in what they want (which they are losing due to bad decision making and bad customer service). Fitbit always brags about the Fitbit community and strong it is but they don’t listen to the people on there. Fitbit, get with the program and start working on new challenges and adventures. You will seriously lose a lot of customers. But, perhaps they don’t care. What are we to them anyway. It’s quite obvious how they feel about us by ignoring us all these YEARS and giving us placated answers. After my Fitbit dies (which probably won’t be long given how they’ve been in quality lately) I will definitely look into other devices. Fitbit is no longer interesting to me since all of us who have it are pretty much bored with the features. I have no interest in what new devices they create since we cannot interact with my friends or engage in new challenges and adventures.

I agree with you. I know after this one dies I’ll won’t buy another.

I agree! Different locations should be added, like the Chicago lakefront or a trail around one of the islands in Hawaii. International adventures would be cool too!!

I agree!  New Fitbit user and I'm already loving the Yosemite Challenge and telling my Mom (previous fitbit user, but not into the app) about it!

How can I vote to get more solo or race adventures?

Don’t think you can. Fitbit doesn’t even acknowledge our requests.

Well, my second versa was giving me issues after my latest phone update and I finally had it with Fitbit. I decided to exchange my versa for a Samsung sport gear and I am totally happy with it. I have no issues with firmware or notifications. Setup was so quick and easy. It is definitely stronger and sturdier than the Versa. Th Versa looks really cheap next to it. Also, I can still challenge people so I’m happy with that. It’s not like fitbit has the upper hand in that area anymore since they only have a very few to choose from and they do not update that area anymore so I’m not missing out on anything. And because of that, switching over to Samsung was no lost for me.

I agree!!!!! The solo adventures are great the first few times. How about a way of users making adventures of their locals and sharing with the Fitbit community? It would be a great way to see other places

I live in Colorado, and we have arguably some of the best hiking trails anywhere.
It would be great if we could have a way to add some user-submitted adventure races to the mix!

That would be great! Add some more national parks - even state parks/trails. But it has been over 2 years of people constantly asking and Fitbit has done nothing. Very frustrating
