after a message of one of you moderator i have decided to make that topic.

I really like you products but the people using an IOS device really need more notifications!

So please give us more! 😃

E-Mail

Whats App

Facebook 

and more messaging apps

Several comments refer to Skype text notifications, but a more useful option for those of us in corporate settings would be Skype for Business (used to be Microsoft Lync) notifications. Please update the Alta to make Skype for Business an option for text notifications.

Acabi de comprar fitbit alta y estoy muy decepcionadonde no tener notificaciones tipo whatsapp, no lo entiendo ya he tenido garmin vivosmart y razer nabu, las 2 con notificaciones. Creo que la voy a tener que devolver, para mi es imprescindible.

The idle alert would be so helpful for the charge HR. I have to have the HR monitor so I don't plan to buy the Alta. Please include the idle alert for the Charge HR. If it is not available by the time I have to change out my Fitbit then Fitbit will not get me as a customer. Also I have been telling everyone else to stay away from each Fitbit because they do not update and help with what their customers are asking for. I do not have access to either my phone or internet during the day so can't update or email me reminders. I have to set 8 alarms which is definitely not sufficient since I have one to wake me up. This is pure bullcrap he way Fitbit services the customers.

One of the reasons I got this device is because I wanted something that could do notifications as well as track my activity. It's just seems crazy to me that something that is advertised as supporting notifications barely supports any notifications. I thought it was bugged and came to these forums to look for a fix.

I'm using this to replace my Metawatch Strata since I wanted something that could do fitness tracking. The metawatch was a kickstarted watch from a now defunct company and it was much better with notifications. It had a notifications manager where you could just go through and check off all the apps that could send notifications to see which ones do or do not show up on the watch. I was kind of expecting more from Fitbit since they seemed like a better company with a better product.

I would love to be able to get fb and whatsapp notifications sent to my blaze in the same way as text messages are. It would make the fit bit fa more versatile for daily use.

Yea please more notifications especially WhatsApp, for iOs. Just bought Alta and never even considered that it would not have WA. If nor the first Fitbit will be the last as well

please give the blaze the ability to support email and other mobile device notifications like socail media or other messaging apps

As a former Basis Peak user (still regretting the recall) I did some research before buying my new tracker, and finally choose the Fitbit Blaze, because I thought it would match the features of the BP most.  Still learning the watch (tracker) of course, but one feature I'm already missing is the fact you can only choose 1 notification, and also e-mail notifications are not supported.  For a tracker advertized as a smart fitness watch this is not smart at all, and considering the price it might be a deal breaking miss.  Question for the Fitbit company (I will send this to CS also): 1. why did you not mention on your website the notification function is very limited? 2. are you planning to improve / extend these notification features, and if so in which time period can we expect it? Which other features are in the pipeline? Question for the Fitbit community: how in general is Fitbit reacting / listening to new feature requests? Which upgrades did you receive so far? Obviously not all requests can be handled, and everyone has his own wishlist, but I assume a wider choice of notifications will be in the top-5 of most users as far as the "smart" aspect is concerned.  I know it took some time for Basis Peak to implement the notification feature, but when they released it it was working for several applications simultaneously.

I opened this post months ago. Overwhelming support for whatsapp notifications, followed up by email, fbk messenger etc etc.

Based upon the responses I have so far received in response to my post (65+ and counting), none of the requests have been implemented.

I've already decided to go for an Apple Watch instead.

Most of the competators link to any notification your phone has.  Polar, apple and Garmin all capatured every notification that my phone is subscribed to.  It would be nice for Fitbit to do the same.

Can you pretty pretty please, create a notification for whatsapp for my Alfa? Once that's all sorted, I'd be keen for Facebook notifications as well.

Yes i agree please do something about this. I mean the xiaomi band 2 already has whatsapp notifications in ios im pretty sure fitbit can follow suit

Been waiting and waiting for what's app notifications - had the surge, waited, no notifications, got the blaze still no 3rd party notifications. Also no reminder to move, even the alta has this!!! Think I am going to buy the Apple Watch 2 Shen it comes out and downgrade my Fitbit to a. Belt mounted model, shame really, I think there must be a limitation on IOS as we have been waiting for this feature for over two years now!!

Android users can get all the notifications they want for Surge, Blaze and Alta. Just download FIT NOTIFICATIONS, easy to set up. I recive notifications from instagram, snapchat, Facebook and several other apps on my Fitbit Blaze 👍

That's great for those who own one of those, however the Charge and Charge HR have the capability to get notifications, since I had a third party app before a Fitbit update blocked the notifications.  That means that Fitbit can do it, they choose not to, and that's what we are all frustrated about.

Please add a software update so that all fit its can have full iOS and android notifications like instagram and Snapchat

I just got my Fitbit blaze today. Play with it and really disappointed that whatsapp is not part of the notification. In Singapore nobody use imessage or normal message anymore, I can say 95% of the people in Singapore uses whatsapp as a text message. So please Fitbit. Please do something for those who are using IOS iPhone users to have whatsapp as part of the notification.
