There should be a way to switch between using a fitbit tracker and using your smartphone/iPhone when the tracker's battery is low like other trackers (Zeroner, etc...).

If your cellphone comes with a chip inside (M7/M8) compatible to connect with MobileTrack, you should be able to use it to track your steps, distance, and calories burned. It does not track floors, sleep, active minutes nor activities. To verify if your phone offers this option, please go to this link and look for the following message:
